On the bbc gossip column this morning. "Stoke boss Tony Pulis is targeting moves for man utd and France midfielder Morgan schneiderlin and southampton England forward jay rodriguez" you couldn't make up mistakes like that

Just demonstrates how low on the radar clubs like us and WBA are on the BBC's radar. Nobody outside the big six gets anything more than cursory attention.

It's not just the BBC it's every media outlet. According to The Times match report the only reasons we won on Saturday was the gamesmanship we adopted and the fact that the ref wrongly failed to send Muni off. No mention of how shit, dirty, toothless and whinging Burnley was or how we absolutely pasted them in the first half and played the second at a canter. Oh and we scored 2 goals and Burnley didn't.

A simple error really. I'm prepared cut them a bit of slack. They get those comments paraphrased and on teletext pretty smartish. They are up by 23.30 sometimes.

I'm ok with all that, far better than media fawning imo. That never usually plays out very well. Fuck em, let everyone think we're still agricultural, we can carry on regardless. We know, that's what matters.

We, as Stoke fans should be accustomed to all this. Personally, I couldn't give a fuck about the press, especially the part that is owned by that cunt Murdoch. Any part of the media that grovels to a nasty, vile cunt like Mourinho is not really worth shit!

So, I'm assuming that the error was in the club name and not the managers name as both those two would be a logical choice at the centre of a West Brom back 4.

You're wiping a lot of our squad out with that. Interesting if hypothetical. Do you think he'd make the 4231 work? I don't mind the idea of hom at all btw.

Look at what he did at Southampton allbeit with a more defensive player (when he wasn't injured or suspended) but he was always more defence minded. But we need one of them too. I wouldn't be arsed if Whelan, Adam, Afellay and Cameron never played for us again after this season. All old, all inconsistent, all ideally need replacing. It's what is needed to an extent but keep one as cover.

There's an equally interesting in-house, less risk solution too surely.
