Another good result and moves us nicely into the top 10.
Absolutely delighted for Muni - started the move and scored a great goal. Seems really popular with the rest of the team as well as with the fans. Also a well taken goal with a nice finish from SJW.
Nasty challenge by Barnes on Bruno, and I hope that there will be retrospective punishment for that.
Overall very pleased with our current progress and hope we can finally get something from Whinger's mob next week.

Also posted as a separate thread
At the end of the game yesterday, the stewards who take charge of the shuttle buses were having to apologise for the very poor service on offer to fans.
The queues were way beyond the top of the footpath (by the Gordon Banks statue) and it was 5-35 before the last buses arrived at the ground (even then I'm not sure if there was enough room for everyone)
For some of us it was touch and go re making it to catch a train home
The fans were polite in expressing their opinions, possibly helped by the fact that it wasn't raining and we had won the game.
We had to wait while shuttle buses of away fans went past en route to the railway station
Why do away fans get priority with the shuttle service and travel for free to the railway station?
The chief steward however did encourage fans to voice their concerns via the Supporters Council.
He agreed that there are not enough buses prioritised to transport the Stoke fans back to Stoke town centre.
Several fans (including myself) would like to see a shuttle bus service link to the railway station as this happens for away fans.
The location of the ground will not change, encouraging fans to use public transport / park and ride schemes needs to improve
Rerouting some of the traffic that uses the roundabout could be considered
Although traffic management is not a direct responsibility of the club, the access to the ground should be something that all clubs look at and try to improve
I've posted this on the knot fm Sunday Sports Show too - take the opportunity to make any relevant comments

Notice Russel was slating the 2nd half performance yesterday - did he forget to comment on the first half or is he one of these that just pick up on the negatives ( i'm thinking it the latter!!)
On the subject of entertainment would he rather we win every match with an average display - or would he rather we lose every match after a reasonable display - beginning to get bored of his negative comments zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Russ you are spot on about the 2nd half performance but how often in recent years have we played well for both halfs of games?Very few is the answer and it's something that needs addressing especially how we start games in the both halfs at home. When I heard the team yesterday at 2pm I was amazed that it was unchanged but the manager was proved to be spot on.Surely though next week we need to bolster the midfield against the Arsenal. Lets just hope that Bruno's injury doesn't mean a long lay off either because we can ill afford that

Yesterday we saw some brilliance and we took the lead (2-0). The second half we saw the game through for the win.
We do lack the clinical strike which would enable us to win in a more comfortable manner. Let's hope LMH can find one.
The Bony situation is a difficult one and it does appear that he is out of favour - on the bench (and after last week it can be explained) but when the change was made it is Crouch who came on and not Bony. I guess Crouch in our own box is good at winning headers when set pieces are launched into our box but it does leave you wondering about Bony before New Year and then The African Cup of Nations.
Back to yesterday there were some wonderful "cameo" appearances from our flare players but this from another impressive performance from Bruno - having such a solid foundation to build a performance from leaves us in a stronger position to move towards the next level.

Very happy with the result Ange. Although I thought we drifted out second half. Here's hoping for a win at Arsenal and Liverpool. Imagine that for an Xmas treat! Keep the faith, we'll be with you! UTMP!

Gray was all over Muniesa. Also a few of there players should of seen red. We started really slow again which is a worrying concedeing a free kick on the edge of our box with in 10 seconds and a lack luster second half.
Talking about atmosphere Bournemouth score last minute in a epic come back. A little clap and cheer then back to silence. Tune in app on xbox one working flawless.

It's all about expectations and how to manage them
We were very good first half (as we were at Watford) and could have had a bigger lead
I expected us to continue to dominate in the 2nd half, Burnley had other ideas and we did lose some momentum.
A fellow fan commented that if we didn't improve we could be hanging on for the last 5 minutes
I agree with all of this but the most important thing for me is the result
We do lack a clinical finisher
Hughes did make the right team selection - I was surprised when it was announced
His expectations for the team are high but realistic

Just to voice my concerns regarding half time Ange. It took me 20 mins to get a drink at the bar on saturday. I missed 5 mins of the secon half. Is there a way that Stoke can have some sort of queuing system in operation?

We are more organised without Shawcross and more threatening from corners with out him.

Regarding the FA cup draw I'd love Derby away. My team for the Arsenal match: Grant Johnson Muni Bruno Pieters Imbula Allen Shaq Walters Arnie Diouf
