Some of his skill at beating a man is unreal. Not just sending his man in the wrong direction, occasionally it feels like the worlds going start spinning the wrong way as shaqs sent the pitch a dummy

Superb skill. I thought today he was actually quite poor though.

Superb skill. I thought today he was actually quite poor though. Weirdly agree. Got the assist but just seemed to lose the ball a lot, and went down a little too easy at times.

His performances lately have been superb so not really a dig at the little fella. But like you say he lost the ball quite a lot today and did look particularly weak. I just didn't think he was very effective at all. Couldn't fault his work rate though. He put a right shift in

Unfortunately, that just seems to be a part of his game. I wish he wouldn't as he puts his own team under pressure when he loses the ball and he's still on the floor. I thought he played much better later in the 2nd half when Arnie went off strangely. His best position is out wide, or, at least, that's where he's turned in some great performances for us this season, that's for sure. I thought he was 'ok' in the No. 10 position today, but nothing more imho. Sadly, he was still more influential there than Bojan was last week

I thought Shaq was our only poor player today. Great corner though.

Worst player on the pitch by a margin.
To think we could have kept Shotton and saved a load of money.

Shaqiri generally has been a lot better this season hasn't he?
Very pleased with him. He looks sharper and fitter. I just wish he would take his man on the outside more often and improve the quality of his crosses into the box.

It just didnt quite happen for him today other than the great corner of course.
As long as we can keep him fit and on the pitch then hes going to win us plenty of points this season. Hes an assist machine

Just before he got brought down for their red card, I was wanting him to carry on running, he has the pace but he was just slowing the game down.

Sometimes he loses the ball too easily Sometimes he is unbelievably brilliant
Never boring and delighted he plays for us

I think Danny Murphy has marked his card in an honest way When pressed on motd, he always says... He has brilliant skills and wonderful technique, but he doesn't show enough of it, for me.
I think that's fair, very good player, but a little bit more consistentcy wouldn't go a miss
