He's a nailed on signing and one I would embrace
He's lost his way at WBA for reasons that's not worth going into on here as there's no point but get him fit and he'd be a gem

Anymore than that and we have been ripped off! If they demand more, get Orlando to sign him for 400k in the summer and we sign him from there!

I could see TP wanting one of our players as part of the deal. Who would you be comfortable with leaving to be a Baggie?

If it is the case then we need to play hardball and don't put up with any of this rubbish about them needing to get in a replacement for someone who's not playing. He either signs in the first week or we move on. We need someone in early with Diouf and Bony at the ACON.

However if Berahino is fat then god knows what that makes the rest of us. What next? Get rid of Crouch because he's too fat?

6 weeks before it opens and 10 weeks before it shuts!. Our friend Saido is back in the Sun and Sentinel reported to be on our radar yet again.Brace yourselves🤕 Saying he is "back on our radar" suggests that at some point since we bid for him, he left our radar. I doubt very much if that is the case. We wanted him at £20 million (ish) in the summer and we have not signed a permanent striker instead of him. We have sogned a loan striker who a) has only scored 2 goals and b) whose wages are beyond our budget. Berahino's value is now a fraction of the £20 million we offered as his contract expires in the summer and his tribunal value would be half or less than our offer last summer. Plus - there is his threat to move abroad to avoid a tribunal fee. I'd be gob smacked if we (and a few other Prem clubs) were not still interested in aquiring him at a fraction of what we offered in the summer. That doesn't mean it is a done deal but it does mean that he'll be slap bang in the middle of our radar. As Werrers says above, there are reasons he has fallen out with the Baggies and there is nothing to say that those reasons will still apply at whatever club he moves to. If we (or any other club can agree a deal in December then there is a reasonable chance that he will be physically fit (even if not match fit) by mid January. We'd be foolish not to try to sign him - for much less than our previous offer.

Makes him sound like serious damaged goods with fitness and mental issues. Who in the right mind would pay the ridiculous money wba want for him now. We'll sign him in January for circa 8m and he'll do just fine once he's away from a manager and club hellbent on destroying him.

Don't think he'd be a good addition to the squad at any price

Quotes he's made himself where he's said he struggling for focus and feeling depressed and unable to get himself fit. I feel for the lad but don't want him at Stoke

Maybe there is maybe there isn't I just don't want to take the chance. I'm probably a bit old fashioned but I like my strikers to have a bit of steel (like Costa) and forego all the drama (unlike Costa on the pitch) Personally think we should pass but each to their own
