I can see imbula playing with a point to prove and the bit between his teeth. Mom tomorrow for the lad if he starts Unlike the point he should have been proving at the start of the season Hope you're right but won't be holding my breath

I really hope Imbula starts. I think he will play well if he does. would be like a new signing if he got his act together now.

Well just to show both sides of the coin , I'm expecting tomorrow to be palace mark 2 as all talk of revival is extinguished and the carnage of a summer comes back to haunt us again With a hoplessly unbalanced performance .
The concerns over shawcross suggest we go into a tough physical challenge without leadership or physicality .
I fully expect some painful dawning realisation on here tomorrow that the dog fight is well underway , and our facebook wizards aren't quite so up for it on grass .
Hope im wrong but it's what I see and until cameron and whelan are available can't see much change .
Team selection and subs will be interesting given the shawcross concerns Letting 2 centre backs go looking dafter and dafter while we could field 4 central strikers tomorrow .

Not going to agree with the 'barmpot' that is Benjamin
it is an alternate point of view however
I'll say this though
- it is true - this will test our squad and give indication of where we need to strengthen in January

No Whelan No Cameron No Allen
For me, it must be a midfield 3 of:
Adam imbula Bojan
Time to step up and show your worth what we paid for Gianelli!

If Whelan is out muniesa will take his place.
If imbula plays, it will be at the expense of bojan

I didn't think Whelan had been written out yet?
I think we need to be positive.

Might as well try him , looking like a tough game and we can see if he wants to work to stay or needs to go .
I wouldn't play Bojan after last week though , try Shaq in 10 role Arnie on the Right and bring Ramadan in

Bearing in mind we could be without Bardsley, Ryan, Cameron, Whelan and Allen (definitely). What would be the starting line up?
Grant
Johnson Muniesa Bruno Pieters
Adam Imbula
Arnie Bojan Shaq
Diouf.
A defensive shield of Adam and Imbula is a bit frightening but we should be capable of taking the initiative to Watford with those players!!
In reality Bony and SJW will start at the expense of Diouf and Bojan. We have to pray Ryan is fit and Muni will play a defensive midfield role instead of Adam.

There's no suggestion he can play there either is there? He is at least a midfielder Muniesa is a defender . Charlie Adam is a midfielder. Stephen Ireland is a midfielder. You wouldn't have either of them as a holding midfielder would you? It's a specialist position.
