You need to get in touch with Bombus - his dad is Swedish. (I think.....) Send him a PM if he doesn't pick this thread up? ( And many apologies to all concerned if I'm wrong. )

Swedishstokie3 is the guy you want to speak to, although he's 130km north of the area you're talking about. Met him a a few years back in London and kept in touch for a while... a decent feller and there were a group of around 12 of them at Wembley for the cup final in 2011. so every chance that there's going to be at least one of them from the south

All true, but your forgetting freedom from prejudice, open minded people, efficiency, excitement, and snow!( Not rain) Oh and summer it's absolutely incredible. Usually warmer than the UK! ( At least some days ) You'll love it ( I live in neighboring Finland by the way)

I moved out here in June, albeit 130km from Malmo and it's a fantastic country and quality of life. Granted there's a few things that take some getting used to, the price of beer and opening hours of the Systembolaget being one, albeit not far from Germany to top up!

Good luck mate. We moved to Rhyl a few years ago cos my lady had a business there. I hated it, felt homesick, and we moved back. I admire you for doing it but I need to be in touching distance of the ground. Don't let it put you off because I'm a tart. Hope you make a go of it.
