Why isn't Ramadan starting? Don't know but they'll all be on Facebook blaming Stock City and coach Hughes.

Ghana having all of the play but 0-0 after 40 mins.
Different referieeing standards and also ruined by laser pens.
Penalty to Egypt the first attack for 30 mins. 1-0.

Laser pens
disgusting use of them to try and affect the game
goalie had half a dozen shining at him for the penalty
it should be stopped with a tannoy warning
and if it continues - Egypt are forefit

Are they playing in a disco? Seems to be lights flashing on every player and even the referees. Shocking this happens in lots of African games

as said above, they should play in empty stadiums until it stops

Classic BT. Lost the coverage again. As usual commentary from a London office.

Making themselves hard to breakdown versus a technically better side. The light pen thing is ludicrous.

Sobhi has looked solid and easily has been one of the best players on the pitch. So calm and assured in possession.
