Anybody else received an email claiming that because a new official Stoke City Online store is now live, there is a need to provide a new password via a link on the email.
Sounds dodgy to me. Clever if it is, and to tie me to Stoke and email address!!

Nothing here. I generally go through SCFC Direct for things like that which also links to the online shop. It's worth forwarding to the club. Scam or not it'd be good practice for them to put out a communication on the website assuring one way or another (there was a story about the new online shop a few days ago but it's now coming up as unavailable?) - www.stokecityfc.com/club/contact/

If you go through the official website it needs your new password to get in so i'd say it's legit.

Anyone else been finding that when you click on the link for 'retail' it just says 'New Retail Site Coming Soon'
Has been doing that for the past 24 hours and I need to order something urgently

If everybody sends me their bank details etc-then I will sort it all out.

Yes I did, and I carried out the reset, unfortunately when you get back on there it's the same festering old tat they had before! I am just one small step from starting a "BRING BACK ADIDAS" campaign, at least their stuff had a semblance of quality and a whiff of street cred

They've had a new website and probably moved platforms from who's hosting it.
So you can move account details across but due to data protection and encryption etc etc etc. Passwords cannot be moved over so all accounts are required to do a quick password reset
It happened to my online store when I moved to a much bigger and better platform. Literally takes 10 seconds to do!

looking like Stoke sent out the emails at about 21:00 Hours last night - then updated the news on the official site at 22:00 to account for the change.
should have been the other way round in my world. I just don't touch links unless I know for sure what's on the other side.
But, thanks for the response everyone
