..... but we've also scored in all 6 games!
I can't imagine that has happened too often since promotion to the Prem. Can anyone dig out any stats to support me?

There's only Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool with as good a form as us in the last six games, and they are all top four. Good result today, and we could have nicked it at the end.

www.statto.com/football/teams/stoke-city/2012-2013/resultsThere is normally a 'bonus game' at Chelsea or Man City that pops up and puts pay to any run of this length no matter how well you're playing! We seem to have had quite a few runs of one loss in 7 or 8 - but amazingly there was a run of 10 undefeated (5 wins, 5 draws) in TP's last season (before it all went horribly wrong) - between defeats at Norwich on Nov 3rd and Man City on New Years Day.

Bruce in! Oh, hang on.... Never wanted Bruce personally but its got to be said he's made a very good start at the Villa, always remember the Ron Saunders side from when I was a youngster and then that other bloke took over his team and won the European cup (Tony Barton or something like that) be happy for Villa to come back up fairly local for away fans and a proper top flight club.

What I actually posted was that I'd be looking to replace him at the end of the season with a more forward looking manager, my recommendation was Lucien Favre not Steve Bruce. Hopefully Hughes goes on to prove me wrong and renews our squad with younger players replacing the old heads which will make me happy. Edit: I've never advocated changing manager mid season except in an absolute crisis, not even Pulis who I couldn't stand.

Or was I? Well I don't think it was obvious he was about to start integrating these players, I'm still not taking anything for granted that he will continue to do so but he's surprised me the last couple of games, having the balls to give Sobhi a go against Swansea when I think everybody expected Walters made me question whether I'd jumped the gun.

Hughes is to be applauded for getting rid of Imbula from the starting 11 which I believe to be one of the key reasons for our revival.

I'd still be interested to know when or if (in the Premier League) we have scored in 6 games on the trot. To be fair it may be one of those stats which are not actually recorded on any sort of regular basis and would require a lot of footwork to check.

Imbula will be back. When he is, I think he will be a different and more complete player. And a beast. In gloves.

Using 2 defensive midfielders and Ryan's return to fitness was the main reason IMO mate . Imbula will have to be brought back from the naughty step at some point

The have been several reasons for our improvement in form, including Grant who has been a pleasant surprise. However, the main reason for me has the partnership of Shawcross and Martins Indi, which has really stabilized the middle of the defense. Pieters and Beardsley have been much more solid as well and made very few mistakes.

Imbula will be back. He will eventualy, but March's right; one of the keys to our current results is the changing of personel in midfield.

Edit: Though this is the longest run we've had in the Premier League of both scoring in every game and also remaining unbeaten

Allen has excelled in the more advanced role and Cameron (prior to injury) fitted in well. I'm not quite sure how or when Imbula will force his was back into the team.
