Irrespective of the funding issue the ugly scenes at their game v Chelsea are as depressing as they were predictable.
The message from the police continues to be one of 'not our problem' and the club appear to have no idea what to do.
Football clubs have honed anti hooligan controls really well in this country but The London Stadium looks like a hooligans venue.
For my money I think that club will not be there in twenty years time

After all that's gone on all season, I'm not sure how it's still got its safety certificate definitely for that level of crowd and also maybe at all!

The trouble at the stadium since they moved there is absolutely appalling, every man and his dog has known for weeks what was coming tonight if the owners didn't get their act together.
What action was taken over the ManU bus getting bottled at their final game at Upton Park?

I'm dreading us going there in a few weeks. Jesus Christ.

Nothing mate. West Ham are the FA's love child.

As always they'll get away with it. Almost any other club would have been fined by now at the very least. This will get worse before it gets better. They'll end up playing behind closed doors at this rate.

They've given them lessons on how to throw properly. Shocking performance.

3k Stoke fans there next weekend.
We're no London derby to them but I bet my bottom dollar a load of Stoke lads turn up for it.
Security is piss poor. Huge stoke following.
I'd be surprised if it passes off without handbags

I dont get how they cant stop it at this new ground.
Surely its a case of fines cctv banning orders and riot police.
Its worked at pretty much every ground up and down the country to the point that they dont especially need police.
Is there some argument between club and police over payment or something

Is there some argument between club and police over payment or something My understanding is they've chosen the cheap option and used the stewards from the OS who pretty much have no training. That along with trying to fill it without trying to segregate the fans into family stand etc. One word GREED.

That's a few times now at the same venue so football league surely must punish West ham fc?

Giving this game a miss. Far too old for all this shit. If it can kick off with Watford and Bournemouth then we have no chance of keeping it peaceful.

Did anybody catch the video where 3 guys got into the Stadium at night. Ran around the pitch, took pictures and even managed to get on the roof?

Flipping heck. 3000 Stoke fans with poor security and hooligan West Ham fans is a recipe for disaster.

Yes wierd..
I went old ground a couple of times and saw the odd bit of gesturing etc...actually once some stoke fans looking for trouble who found no one especially keen.
Seems to be a change the locals are exploiting!!

Middlesbrough, Watford, Bournemouth, Sunderland, it's kicked off at all of their games so far, tonight was the first match where one of the 'big' clubs rolled into town.
There appears to be very little security around the stadium too, incredible that this is going on at the newest stadium in the Premiership,
It seems there is something fundamentally wrong but I'm not sure what it actually is.
Maybe one of our friends from KUMB will chip in on this thread tomorrow.

I visited during the final phase of the rebuilding and the first thing I mentioned was the set up outside the ground.
There are not many ways to leave, but those that do exist are wide open and must be a nightmare to police. There is not a lot to be done, because this is now a 'park' for families and so fencing, etc is not really an option. I'm not sure where supporters coaches are parked.

Definitely won't be bothering with this one - there will surely be trouble and I have no appetite to run the gauntlet these days especially as neither the club or police seem to have any idea what to do about it.

I'm not sure its all down to the stadium or indeed West Ham and Chelsea.
The League Cup seems to have become the last bastion of competitions where you can still get a good fight these days and you have seen that up and down the land for the last few seasons.
I guess it's down to cheap-as-chips pricing and a general absence of easily identifiable season ticket holders in their usual seats, its the perfect recipe for rent-a-mob.

He was even advertising a pair of shoes and a phone in the video as well. Very suspicious.
