Our support was excellent and when we were singing swing low some of their fans applauded it after.Just wish we could get back to this level of support at home on a regular basis as well i think our best days are gone. 2006-2012 were the glory years. not because of pulis but because we were breaking new ground. in 5 years time i think well be a smaller club. but thats fine. i will always remever the good old days Your 'good old days' were in the mid-90s when you managed a couple of seasons above us.

I'm an armchair fan nowadays but in my youth I would have jumped at the chance to get free transport to away games and would have gone everywhere, so what do people want nowadays to travel...... a free ticket as well? An away day is about more than just the match. The free coaches are great for people who want to go straight to the game & come straight back home afterwards, but are absolutely useless for people who like to go by train & have a few beers en route & on the way back. Rather than just free coaches it should be free travel, I'm sure the clubs could come to some arrangement with the rail companies whereby showing your match ticket gets you on the trains for nowt. People would want SCFC to give them petrol money if you take that line of thought.

Against West Brom there was a better showing but was that because Sir Peter was asking or because Pulis was back?

It was a bit embarrassing when we were singing empty seats to them. It really annoys me when we don't sell out, we are so lucky to be as central in the county as we are and apart from money there really is no excuse. I went mate but didn't take my kids and can understand people not going as it was disgusting to charge them 24 quid. £24 for kids is criminal.

Agreed.. We're sometimes quick to criticise our away support but they were fantastic yesterday. Was sat directly opposite amongst the Hull fans with a couple of mates and they were in awe of both our noise levels and variety of song.. they managed a few muted minutes of Slade but that was about it.. There was a row of 4 or 5 Stokies in front of us who did get up when Shaq bent in the 2nd.. a few grumbles from the locals but no aggression. They were laughing at Swing Low and also complimentary about the team.. thought Annie, Joe and Shaq looked frightening at times.. Disappointed with Bony but hey, we have some proper talent these days.. Onto the Tax Payers Stadium.. going to be a great day.. N I was sat with Hull fans directly opposite as well - and it was really impressive looking across and hearing the noise. Fabulous support - could even hear the words to the songs. Terrific performance on the pitch as well and it was noticeable the players acknowledged the fans.

I stopped over and was out in the town Saturday night, the Hull fans were complementary about the noise we made but not by the numbers,I said there home support was not much better, then he told me about the new pricing structure the owners have implemented then I don't blame them plus he did say they were shit. But those of you who are thinking about going a away match do you will enjoy the atmosphere.
