Loved the nursery rhyme words. Me & the kids were singing along. Not sure about the race & sexuality references. Why not include gypses & the crippled

'Time' off Aladdin Sane.
Time - He flexes like a whore Falls wanking to the floor His trick is you and me, boy
I mean what the heck is that all about? But its lyrics as art so who cares?!

Bewlay Brothers takes some beating.
I have a soft spot for some of the stuff on Man who sold the World. This live Width of a Circle brings back some memories.

I was a bit of a fan in his early career. Diamond Dogs album was good but Pin Ups has a particular favourite with Friday on My Mind and Sorrow as two stand outs from it. Think much of his later stuff is overrated but that's just my personal opinion.

Choosing a Bowie track is very mood dependent! I always love this though!

Andy Warhol, and I know it got a release as a single,so perhaps doesn't meet the thread criteria, but Wild is The Wind is just one of the most preternaturally beautiful songs recorded, imho.

Bewlay Brothers takes some beating. I have a soft spot for some of the stuff on Man who sold the World. This live Width of a Circle brings back some memories. Generally Bowie was as good as the guitarist he was working with, so his best stuff was with Ronson and Fripp. Any of that ragged noisy stuff on MWSTW is my favourite. Never saw Bowie live but I did see Ronson with Ian Hunter.

Fancy the flipside of the novelty pop hit 'Laughing Gnome' being this weary, malevolent, curmudgeonly thing.. for a nipper... Bowie rarely put a toe-tapping foot out of place, but maybe my Bowie intro is why I rate 'Lodger' so highly at the mo. Along with the instrumentals and stuff off 'Low'. And owt off 'Young Americans'. It's all great. 'African Night Flight' and all the okkerd stuff still endures.

Defined the early 80's with this thing...
I always liked, and still doo, 'Scary Monsters'.
Both singles though so I've gone off piste. Bahhhh!
