Some of you wouldn't have kompany? Mind boggling!!! Why? He plays where Shawcross does. I don't want Shawcross replacing. He's not going to be happy as back up. I don't want him. Dead easy. Classic, classic Bayern.

we can ENQUIRE about messi, ronaldo, bale and neymar...... doesnt mean theres a hope in hells chance of gettin them There is more hope of using signing Kompany than Messi, Ronaldo, Bale and Neymar. That goes without saying, maybe not in your mind

When fit for a period of time Kompany is a hell of a player, but if Indi continues his progress I'd rather have him. This because of age and that he is starting to form a very solid partnership with captain Ryan. I also think his decision making is better than Kompany's, especially when he has the ball at his feet. I'd rather see a player like Trippier here as Johnson and Bardsley both are getting older and are injury prone as well. We need someone who can play 30+ games season after season! I think Johnson is ace, but unfortunately he can't do this, the same goes for Bards. So the priority should be a right back and another defensive midfielder who could be competition to Whelan and Cameron. If not Imbula could step up and show that he has defensive qualities as well! If both Bony and Diouf go to the ACON we need another striker as well as I think both Crouchy and SJW no longer are really good enough and should both be sold next summer.

He'd be some signing for you if you can get him. Shawcross and Kompany at the back could be a superb CB pairing, have to say.

It's a good call and it was indeed Hughes who signed him at Man City Can't spot a defender apparently He did sign him as a midfielder initially... But I'd have him here any day.

We'd face stiff competition to get him but he'd be a top, top signing if we can somehow pull it off. Phnaar.

I know the most condescending arrogant fucker on here but knows absolutley fuck all about football. When he put the mind boggles he wasn't asking for you to give him an explanation as to how you come to your reasoning as if you read between the lines he already has you down as a moron. Kompany will not play in a Stoke shirt and it's nothing to do with his injury record. Every other team in the league and nearly all Chanpions League clubs would be in for him, I would imagine one of the big Italian clubs would be a likely destination as City would refuse to sell to a league rival.

Maybe 3 or 4 years ago but he's 36 come April. More like 31. He meant to say he's 36 in 2022

He'd be some signing for you if you can get him. Shawcross and Kompany at the back could be a superb CB pairing, have to say. Not sure they have a left foot between them though mate. And with their recent injury records you'd imagine they'd get to play about 7 games a season together! Not saying I wouldn't take Kompany (you'd be nuts to discount it) but it's hard to say he's who we need or want when looking at he squad overall. Signing a solid, regular, top-class pro like Bruno is far more sensible for example. Can't see it happening anyway; far more likely to stay at Citeh or end up somewhere like Arsenal!

We can't sign him on loan so I'd think this is a flight of fancy don't dispute Cilla's insight but it's worth remembering our transfer team don't know the rules and on a permanent basis if it's a transfer auction I'd bet on anyone including Donald Duck v our CEO .
