Southampton are playing very well, although it's always a strange competition to get a handle on. Could be 3-0 up already.
Inter look dreadful

At least their manager has the integrity to play a full strength side.

Cracking following from them but we would have took the same if not more. We could probably do the one off but the people of N.Staffs are not awash with cash. If we had 3 euro trips in 6 weeks or so we may struggle to maintain humbers. P.s. I have no idea whether the euro games involve 3 away games in 6 weeks. Even one a month would be difficult for many Stokies.

At least their manager has the integrity to play a full strength side. they had one young player making his first team debut. we played virtually our first team in the group

Crikey, never knew Frank De Boer was at Inter.
He was last seen at Ajax with Bergkamp wasn't he?

Pulis according to the BBC report on line played a 'seriously weakened team' and left players like Crouch Walters and Etherington at home. For me that was nothing short of betrayal if only he could have taken the competition as seriously as the supporters who shelled out hard earned money.

The same as when we were in Europe. We took cracking following but you always knew that if a big tie came up we would take thousands

Our group games were not as appetising as Milan. Our support in Israel, Ukraine and Turkey was excellent. Had we had Milan in a group game, we would have taken the same as they did tonight.

How many did we take valencia? Our allocation was 2,300 which sold out. The Sentinel estimated it was somewhere 5,000 - 6,000 including those in other areas of the stadium

Not once. The thing that still bugs me about Valencia is that the manager couldn't even be arsed to fill the bench. Shocking disrespect for that competition.

I'll never ever forgive Toxic for Valencia
What a massive cunt he is.
It's actually ruined my Friday night now thinking about it. Fucking bastard!
Me n 3 mates had a brilliant trip. Barcelona the night before. Road trip down to Valencia. 2 days worth of unbelievable memories and great laughs
Get to Valencia. See familiar faces. My Great nan (Mabel) out there. Everyone laughing and smiling. Soaking up the weather drinking ridiculous amounts of ale
Then 30 minutes before kick off word spreads what that fucking cock sucker Pulis had done.
Sent half a team and a few kids on the bench.
What the fuck? ARRRRGGGHHHHHH

Valencia was the beginning of the end for Tone! Rally's the supporters to get as much support as possible out in Spain, then sends his reserves and kids out to play there Hopefully we get the chance to do it again in the next couple of years!
