Has looked a lot better today strong as an ox and some lovely touches. Really like to see him get a goal for his confidence.

Once he scores, he won't stop. Pure confidence and fitness issues with him, that are getting better each game... You could tell that when he was subbed off, he was desperate to stay on and try and pop one in.

He'll come good with goals soon. As it is his hold up skills are enough for me to see him starting....the ball seems to stick to him.

Thought he played well, dissapointed that he was taken off. Needs the 90 minutes.

His all round play is good enough because he takes up 2 defenders and allows Arnie & Shaq the space and leaves Allen to ghost in unnoticed.
Just needs that first goal and he will be off and running.
He looked hungry for a goal today was a bit unfortunate on a couple of occasions.

Wouldn't be surprised if his first goal is against Swansea in two weeks!

Even if he's not scoring, he still brings so much to the side. Much like Pelle for Southampton.

The simple truth is, the harder you work , the luckier you get
I think he knows that , and that's his plan to get out of a rut
Good luck to him :-)

Yah see, I'm not totally convinced. Sure enough he has a great reputation but looking at his play and his awareness, it all seems a bit lacking to me. There are many times he should have a quick 1-2 and run into space but he doesn't seem to visualise it. No mistake he can hold a ball up, but sorry he doesn't bring all that much to the game compared to Shaq and Arnie he's Championship material.

Talking of championship material could you not see the obvious difference in our forward play once Walters replaced Bony ?

Thought he was dog shit in the second half. I have never seen a striker move so little. The ball that arnie rolled across the 6 yard box was every strikers dream, should have been a tap in. Where was bony? Standing on the peno spot waving it as it went past.
On the flip side, some of his touches and hold up play was sublime.

I don't care if he doesnt score if he plays balls through as well as he did and others are able to score from them. Needs to stay on his feet more though.

I'm sorry to rain on this parade but he was up there for me as the weakest player for Stoke.
So many opportunities but he just looks leaden footed. Not making runs, not pulling defenders out of position. Pace has gone, first touch suspect.
No idea why he was replaced by SJW who looks off it as well though still better than Bony. After 50 mins we were hoping Diouf or Crouchy would come on though I'd have loved to have seen Bojan getting on the end of the excellent work done by Shaqiri and especially Arnie who was again the main attacking threat.
We all want him to do well, but let's not be delusional here. If the game had been 12 hours long he wouldn't have scored.

He hadn't a Scooby Doo. Diouf and Sparky must have fallen out.
