Let's be honest, we could take a spanking today(we generally do at OT), but then this is Stoke so we could get the ultimate surprise. Is anybody going to bet against their club today or have you ever in the past. Is anybody going to place their hard earned money on a Stoke win I do like the spread betting and consider myself a bit of a pro , but I can't bring myself to back against the potters, but you have to say the liklihood of us scoring is very low and I would be surprised if we only conceeded 2 or less, with our current defensive woes and injuries. On the face of it, it looks like good chance of making some money. for £5 you could have 5 £1 bets from 3-0 to 8-0 scoreline and make a profit out of your teams possible misery today - just saying Be honest have you backed against Stoke in the past and how many of you ardent gamblers who like a dabble on the footie each week are tempted with the high scoreline odds today.

If we all bet 20£ on man utd to win stoke will win. Did the same for the final leicester game in promotuon season, bet on a leicester win bookie said he had loads of stokies putting money on a leicester win to jinx leicester because they never win at the bookies

Not for me, I prefer to waste my money! I'm sticking a quid on Johnson to score first 80-1 with skybet

Not optimistic about today at all if I do decide to watch it on BT it probably will be from behind my sofa. To ease the pain I have put a modest £5 on the shit to win with a handicap of -2 goals. I really hope that I lose but if we continue our relegation form I will pick up £15.50 and have a few 'free' pints at my village pub tonight.

I bet on us to lose 1-0 against West Brom at home last season.
It was written in the bastard stars.

I could have thrown 4 quid down the grid today. Had stoke win 3-2 and 4-2. 90/1 and 250/1. The odds say it all but I'm feeling hopeful ....or stupid

I always bet against stoke put a fiver against us no matter who we play ,
If we win or draw and get points im happy.
If we loose im gutted but get money back which makes me happy.
Either way its sort of win win

Either way its sort of win win Thats my approach too. And since we've managed to somehow get to half time at 0-0, Man U have dropped to 1/2 to win the game, which is well worth a tenner. Happy with £15 back for a game we nearly always lose, happy with paying a tenner to see us not lose at OT.

I never bet on anything but a 100% positive result for Stoke; outright win, HT/FT Stoke-Stoke. Mostly just avoid us though.
I find it a bit creepy when people bet on us to win 2-1 or something, so let's say we're 2-0 up those people are wanting the other team to score? Or not wanting us to score!? Sorry I can't ever rationalise with that.
Betting against us to soften the blow of defeat is at least moderately understandable. Certainly not something I would ever consider.

It's like betting against your ex-wife to win the lottery. It's painful if you win, and painful if you lose.

Personally I liked the look of Joe Allen 28-1 (£15) anytime goalscorer and 80-1 first and last goalscorer (£5 each) And I thought his odds of 14-1 anytime and 33-1 first and last goalscorer last week were generous. Just a bit under £1,200 as I cashed out last goalscorer bet for both games from £25, Cheers Joe

I went to Las Vegas a little bit ago and put $100 on Stoke to defeat Liverpool while I was there. Oh yeah we won 6-1 that day

Had stoke win 3-0, 3-1. Place same bet every game regardless of who or where we play. I always believe we have it in us to beat anyone. I just wish the players had as much faith as i do.

Been costing me for weeks on Super Six but you've got to bet on your team to win, haven't you?

I could NEVER ever back my beloved stoke city not to win a match. I would rather have my eyeballs poked out. I do bet on stoke to win at home most of the time so you can all blame me lol given the amount of whinging on this board there must be a lots of "treasoners" so I sit back with a smile on my face in the knowledge that uncle peter has swelled his coffers.
