hm, link wouldnt work, anyway this is what it says
QPR boss Ian Holloway has slammed the new rules governing transfers.
In the past clubs have been allowed to sign players on loan throughout the season, even outside of the normal transfer windows, but they are now only permitted to do so at designated times of the year.
QPR are struggling badly with injuries, and Holloway is frustrated that he can do very little about it.
"The transfer rules are killing us and it is making life very, very difficult," he bemoaned.
"It's the first season this has happened and I'm finding it hard to juggle.
"In the past you could bring in a player on loan if you had injury problems, regardless of when it was in the season, but not any more."could bring in a player on loan if you had injury problems

If it was only QPR, then he would have a point. But he should realise that the rules effect all clubs and that QPR are not the only club with injury problems either.
He should shut up moaning and play the youth players if they are desperate, or havent they graduated from the school of acting yet? ;D

while not wanting to make holloway sound reasonable, because all the clubs are in the same boat - the new transfer rules are a bit boring imo...i used to enjoy the season long randomness of loans and transfers, it was part of the fun of following the game - now it only happens at two times during the season theres a lack of interesting things happening besides the games themselves...
