"I can't describe how we're feeling right now. You can't write it, it's just Newcastle all over. I'm furious what they're doing to me."
You'd think he'd learn his lesson.

"I'm furious what they're doing to me" If they'd forced him to go then I could see why he'd be annoyed but surely his anger should be at himself for leaving in the first place?

Shit happens, I've left early loads of times and only once has it bitten me in the arse, away to Wigan at Springfield Park I left in disgust when we went 2-0 down and then came back to the ground with my dick between my legs just in time to see Greg Strong hit a late winner. I would never leave when a game is nip and tuck but when we've been royally humiliated or soundly beaten I've left in the past, usually to beat the traffic and get back home to Manchester or to stop myself from doing something daft like running on the pitch and sparking Brian Little out.....

Always remember the Villa away game in the 1st prem season when we were 2 down late on and a lot of folk were either in the tiny concourse or heading down the stairs on their way out when Shawcross pulled a goal back. What followed was probably one of the best mentals in all the years I've been watching this great club and to think many must have missed it. We are all guilty of leaving early at times for various reasons(being 3 or 4 down of late) so there's always a possibility of missing late goals

Went to Birmingham in the Cup on a coach couple of seasons ago.. A mate who likes to get extremely refreshed went for a slash and said he'd go for a burger and wait for us outside \t a cruising 2-1 to us.. He wobbled off. Went outside the ground to the nearby burger van and heard a goal roar, they wouldn't let him back in. Missed three goals, extra time and penalties, stood outside the ground chomping on his burger.. He's generally oblivious to the score on matchdays. Good lad.

Couldn't happen to more deluded fans ever. Wish they had lost. Don't want them back in the Premier league

You should have seen his face when we got back to his car he had heard the end on Wm

Remember it well it was the only fixture that clashed with England v Poland that day as Wigan refused to move the kick off time...

Ha I never leave games early anymore. The last one I left early was at St James Park in the FA cup in 2008 when we lost 4-1. We'd come up on the coach took 4 hours, we got turned over and I left before Liam's screamer. I did exactly the same but, ,after reaching Stoke I then had to drive 4 hrs to Torquay and go work at 8. One long day....

There were about 500 of us going absolutely spare when we scored the winner. Kavangh's goal was one of the best goals ever scored by a stoke player and i'm serious, it doesn't get the attention it deserves
