There is something special about half eating a kebab drunk ,waking up the next day after the juices and the salt and lemon have soaked into the garlic nan and polishing it of for breakfast cold. Guaranteed cure for a hangover imho

Been in Iceland/food store in Trent Vegas tonight. Got a 500 ml bottle of yogurt mint sauce, just like in the takeaways. Its only cost a £1!! No more paying 50p for a tiny tub that's not even full!! Can drown the fuckers in the stuff now and probably say a few quid too. Was nice knowing you all lads, seeing as I'll be dead from a heart attack in a year's time.

If you believed the rumours of what meat products went into one of those Doner skewers I'd probably stop eating them. But I don't,so I won't. I read that most of those doner joints are made in Germany .....absolute mass of fat is added to questionable cuts of lamb (?) to bind it together .....perhaps ignorance is bliss on this on? Kebabs are not something that I eat myself but the wife loves them . Not at Nidge in Longton, they roll the doner out the back from freshly butchered ground lamb mince. It's daft buying mint sauce by the way Trentvegas. Tub of plain Greek yoghurt, Colmans mint sauce and cucumber mixed together is a far superior condiment.

It's probably beyond my nonexistent culinary skills LOL I just get a decent cut of lamb, chop into cubes then on to a skewer with toms, onions and mushrooms (or whatever you like) then cooked with a bit of rosemary. Yoghurt and mint accompaniment. Works for me.
