It happens often, and the stadium seems massive to their fanbase

Lucky for them that it only cost them about £5 otherwise the real cost of building a stadium that size might have hurt them.

Please, please, please let West Ham get relegated I would love to see the porn brothers and Karen Brady get their just desserts for the corruption that got them the stadium in the first place.

Let's hope so,though I admire Bilic.
Then again the fuckers will probably contrive some way of ensuring the tax-payers are liable for their parachute payments......

I know we have not been fantastic on the field but we are starting to get there albeit slowly, an improvement this week. Watching West Ham today and I really think they will be in trouble. As a team they looked like they've never played together (and I know we've not been great) and their passing and movement was awful, losing it key positions. Kouyate, how is he anywhere near their team. Sullivan, Gold and Brady won't be arsed even if they did go down, they rushed through and got what they wanted. Its what they deserve though, imo.

If you were an opposition player you would be delighted to go and play in the Olympic Stadium.
The crowd is miles away from the pitch and there's no atmosphere. Big playing surface, iconic surroundings - it's the perfect place for a day trip!

Not name dropping now or anything, but back in the day Ian Cranson was a pal of mine, and Ian Cranson said the Brit could well be a handicap for stoke, as it could inspire visiting teams, I totally agreed with Ian Cranson and I said to him " Yes Ian Cranson...you may be right" Then Ian Cranson and I had a drink, but like I said, I am not name dropping...

I was told that there is a "super injunction" in place re. individuals at the centre of the move. Anyone else heard anything?

Don't get down very often now but made a pilgrimage to the game Saturday with my brother in law whos a West Ham fan. He was quite envious that we played in a proper football ground with atmosphere. Not complimentary about the OS at all.

There would be poetic justice in them getting relegated but..
They (like us) will be fine. It's good that all this weekends doom and gloom in the media has focused on them.

They really are the lowest of the low, it wasn't too long ago they were trying to con Bham city council to fund a new stadium for blues, as soon as that got binned they didn't hang around for long!

Not the fans fault for the dodgy dealings of their owner's, good support Base with proper supporters not like the arsenal and Chelsea shit fans, the majority didn't want leave Upton Park.

It's fascinating to read the West Aaaaam message board. So many are so utterly turned off by the match day expererience at the new place (never mind what's going on on the park). A lesson to a few other London clubs I would imagine -Arsenal already was a soulless corporation anyway so they don't count. Ironically this whole thing could be great news for Orient ( and a few Essex non league sides) despite Barry Hearns previous witterings!

No chance Sunderland Stoke Swansea hull all far far worse they will be fine if lower than last year Why are we 'far worse'? Based on what? Their problems look remarkably similar to ours. They even took similar steps to try and rectify them, with the same result.
