The big positive was the crowd were right behind Hughes and the team today from the kick off. Many more. Shaqiri was excellent,
Apart from the goal the defence and goalkeeper looked far more solid,
Bony was showing signs of the striker we all know he is (bewildering substitution has to be said).
The midfield kept their shape and discipline and we kept it pretty tight in the middle of the park,
Ryan and Bruno look as if they are building an understanding together
There may be doom and gloom on here with a few but at the ground today there was a positivity about the place.

Looked better for sure, stick with the goalkeeper and we heading in the right direction. Would have liked to have seen Julien Ngoy on the bench and coming on instead of crouch.....Ngoy must be worth a go ?

They cant defend set plays, they'll be run ragged and whipped next week by Man U.
Then 2 weeks rest-enough time to get rid of Hughes.

Putting the ball into the box was the only one for me, the quality of them needs to improve but at least they tried it.
