Worrying signs to be fair, really need that first win to kick start our season.
We knew how poor Pulis was away from home with us, sets sides up purely to defend and we could barely buy an away win under his tenure.
Still not beaten the fucker in about 6 games now. Jammy bastard.

In fairness, Pulis's sides are notoriously hard to break down, especially for a team so low on confidence at the moment. Plenty of positives to work on in the next fortnight (although I can't see us getting much against United).
We nearly had it, miscommunication and a belting header did us in extra time.

Jammy bastard. Outplayed them for 90, despite being kicked up in the air at every opportunity. This team will come good. Shawcross and Indi improving with each game they play together. Pieters coming back into form. Glen looking good. We need to start converting our chances. Sent from my SM-G928F using proboards

The last time we beat West Brom at home was late 2008.

Christ, if anyone should know how hard it is to beat a Pulis side it's surely us...

But, we all know how wank Pulis' sides are away from home. We saw it with our very eyes for about 5 years. Sorry, but you can't be truly happy after that?

I don't think anyone is 'truly happy' but we won't be the only side to not beat them at home this season and it was never going to be a piece of piss given the circumstances. It's a kick in the bollocks but it's not the apocalypse.

I'd worry even more about our fans if they were feeling good after that! I doubt the players will be. But yeah, I'm just a 12 year old moron, apparently.

We should have won on the balance of play, but we're still woeful in the final 3rd!!! A 3-0 scoreline wouldn't have flattered us....!!!

On the face of it, yes, drawing at home to West Brom isn't the result we all knew was required. However, the performance today was. It was a million miles away from the dross we've served up in recent weeks. I'd be inclined to give Hughes a bit more time given today's display although the same problems still haunt us; lack of cutting edge up front and inability to defend set pieces.

I disagree about the performance, yeh we didn't get cut open but that was down to the most negative midfield selection we've seen in a long time.

The ref give 2 stone wall pens and everyone's happy, no complaints with the team or manager today, the ref has shafted us and enjoyed every minute doing it.

I thought you wanted results and that was the closest this season yet,you want to wacth pretty football and end up losing again??? Tell me what you would like, because when your on a bad run you need to sacrifice playing a certain to try get a result.

Yes let's keep picking these attacking players because that's helped in recent weeks. Keep letting in 4goals a game needed sorting out.

I was bored shitless. Its not difficult against a team sitting back to look positive, the only one for me was getting the ball into the box from out wide.

Way, way better! Great energy and kept going for 90 mins Dreadful defending on a set piece for their goal, which was about the only chance they had. Next week will be a tougher test.
