Thats right. Hughes has been a fantastic manager for us, to think that we Stoke are finishing in the top 10 of the best & most hardest league in the world is absolutely incredible and outstanding. Hughes is the man for us & we will regret it badly if he ever left. Some of you fans make me want to vomit, calling for him to be sacked after only 5 games hahaha, get a reality check, its only a few games in, don't you remember last season? we started off very slow the first 6 or 7 games and then we was fine and went on long winning streaks.
You are over-exaggerating hugely and you need to be careful not to drive Hughes away from us, if he walked out then its your fault when we end up fighting at the bottom to survival. With Hughes we are very safe and I fully expect another top 10 finish this season, with the great squad our Hughes has assembled.. I easily see us finishing 7th - 10th at the end of the 38 games.
Show Hughes the respect he deserves, I know you will up shut your mouth in 3 or 4 games time when we are like hovering around mid-table after few wins and draw, but you can pretend to just say "it was in the heat of the moment", but some of you calling him rude names make me want to vomit and you should be ashamed of yourself. Thank you Sparky for making my club play and perform the way I always dreamed of. I for one will not knee-jerk about a few games LMAO 5 games LOL. Get real, absolutely embarrassing some of you are.

If you want to keep vomiting you should see a doctor. You may have an upset tummy.

Welcome to the MB polarbear. Good to hear from you. Keep it up, we need more like you. I take that like me you don't think there is much chance of there being a whip round for Sparky to pay his fine?

I'm a Sparky fan. However... slow starters is one thing, but last year we started very slowly, then had a great run, a purple patch, but then it all went wrong after the cup semi final, so all in all, I'm fine with slow starts as long as we maintain a healthy momentum afterwards. Which we didn't and the hangover is continuing.
Like I said, I am massively pro-Hughes, but I fear time is running out on his project.

Everyone is over-reacting. Some of the abuse is very silly and embarrassing.
I admit if its 15 games in and we are like this, then yeah its a huge worry, but its only a few games, Hughes is a great manager. I'm a million percent confident our results will pick up shortly

For the umpteenth million time - the reaction Hughes is getting is not based on 5 games. It's based on 8 or 9 months of decline - not many managers survive that. He has in fact been treated with a great deal of tolerance in that period and unlike at other clubs (QPR, City etc) he still has a lot of backing from supporters. This ungrateful brat characterisation of our supporter base is totally wrong.

Words 4 & 5 of the OP are bang on. When the players stopped responding to pulis he was gone & it was the right decision. The players need fresh ideas, methods & leadership to kickstart the season.
Leave it too long and it will get harder.

Don't forget while we were one down in this game the crowd was just starting to get frustrated and angry with the continued style of play and from somewhere this changed and we managed to win with our 1st goal of the season from a corner !!

This isn't just a bad start; it's the hangover from hell of last season too.

I admit if its 15 games in and we are like this Waking up with 5 points after 15 games, due to glorifying MH, would result in Championship next season. Mark Hughes has done good work here for a long time. The reality is, that the team has played a terrible football for many months (since December 2015!!) and that means in football business to try something new if the manager fails every week.

By my reckoning it's 19 points from the last 19 games. We're lucky it's been split over two seasons because that's a relegation waiting to happen.

People referring to our "slow start" last season, did we get thumped by 4 goals week after week? no, we were a team who lost to Liverpool due to a great solo strike from Coutinho. We were a team that battled, yes battled, back to get a draw at White Hart Lane. This season we have got what we deserved, it's been completely different. Again I'm going to repeat myself, it's not the losing, it's the manner of which we are surrendering.

I've been critical on here for several months but because it has been obvious where this is headed. Just what the fuck has he been thinking with the goalkeeper, defence and midfield! So unnecessary. Looks like he's got this next couple of games. He has no chance of beating wba

Stopped reading the op after 'most hardest'...Hughes has lost the plot. We've been shite since Christmas, he has no idea how to change it, and giving it time will allow him to further corrode our club, push us towards certain relegation with a QPResque fightless wimper

I'm a million percent confident our results will pick up shortly If we had 1 point after 15 games , which at this moment does not look totally out of the question we would be doomed , Hughes is paid a lot of money to do a job in a results based business , if he goes he will get a good pay off and the way in which Coates has developed the club , Im sure we will have no problem getting a good manager in who can turn us around . If he has as appears lost the confidence of the players for whatever reason then its over , not personal just football. Lets see how Wednesday and Saturday go but if they are anywhere near as bad in either game as they were yesterday it has to be over
