Not personally no, LooseStools. A former housemate was an accountant/financier whose thing was risk. He explained it to me in late night conversations but it's not impacted on my work, no. Thinking back, I did conceive of and make The Random Anarchic Triptych Generator which was designed to throw up combinations of found images to produce a theoretically infinite array of meanings in the readers/viewers, but I suspect that was more philosophical and fanciful than would be useful with Stoke's current predicament. Although one ponders as to whether Hughes has an equivalent - the Random Anarchic First Eleven Generator. And by the way, that's funny.

There comes a point to anyone in a senior managerial job where they have implemented the changes they wanted to achieve and the result has played out. Given most people are creatures of habit and change resistant it is difficult for them to evolve more and it is better for everyone for them to move on.
Wenger is a classic example. He has done fantastically well at arsenal but hasn't changed anything in 10 years, with predictable results. Ferguson is a notable bucker of this rule, but he is very much in a minority.
Pulis reached the limit of his ability around 2010-11, clearly didn't know what to do next and should have moved on.
I wonder if Hughes has run out of ideas?
