I reckon he's worked out that response is the quickest way to pack you off and get you on your way without having to indulge in any lengthy dialogue with you

Maybe that's why Hughes looks so lost and pissed off at the moment, misty has that affect on most people. I always feel its a fine line with a silver beard, between the Viv Busby night clubbing look and coming up just short and looking like a homeless man

I won't believe it until I read Pwingy's take on it.
If he says we'll be OK, I'll rest easy.

Sorry Texas, but it is very serious both from my perspective as a a lifer Stoke supporter and from a SCFC business perspective. I certainly cannot even contemplate a party. No disrespect, but I was there - and we have been shocking, honestly, embarrasing to watch. So no party for me yet pal.

I'll bide my time and go the way of giving Mr. Hughes the benefit of the doubt, and let him ride out of the gauntlet a few more weeks. I won't say I have no concerns either. I do, the players look low on confidence and need a kick in the ass. The manager needs to change it up and sub sooner. I'll give him till' Christmas. By then I'll be in it for some new rope for that party. Till then, I won't quick draw, I still like Hughes odds personally.
