From the 60th minute stoke didnt have ANY players warming up for the rest of the game, the same happened against Man city . this if we were playing well would be okay but our wide men , Arnie and walters were uselss again . It might seem petty but man city, spurs players were constantly warming up until the last sub was used . We gave up on 60 mins . Why not bring sobnhi on he couldn't do any worse than Arnies/walters yesterday

I have to object with you lumping Arnie and Walters together here, Arnie wasn't great but was involved in some of our best moves 1st half, Walters played like a man who'd won a competition to play in a Premier League game for the day - he was fucking woeful.....

We have to look further than Walters now, he doesn't give us anything and as for Camero, dont get me started

Walters was as bad defensively as he was as an attacking threat Walters was desperately poor yesterday and when he came on against Citeh. Dare I suggest this is a bit of fall out from Wilson-gate? Is it fair to say an edge has dropped off from Whelan's game also? 2 + 2 = 5?

I honestly can't remember the last time he had a good game.

I know it was for a losing cause but why wasn't Ramadan bought on?
He needs games to learn and could have actually put Spurs in the back foot a bit which would have helped stave the second half onslaught. But he stayed on the bench as Walters put one of his worst performances in a Stoke shirt in.

I'm a very big Jon Walters fan but I'd go as far as saying that was possibly his worst performance in a Stoke shirt yesterday. Everything about his game just wasn't right yesterday, he only completed 6 out of 15 passes, he didn't run the channels enough when we regained possession and even defensively he struggled tracking Walker at times, as we saw in the build up to Alli's third goal. I'm surprised he started to be honest given that he'd played two full games in the space of six days for Ireland only five days prior to this match. Hopefully his poor showing was down to fatigue and he can benefit from a decent rest now, I still think he has plenty to offer us.

Which Stoke players looked up for it yesterday? For me, not any really, and that's very troubling?

A number of our fans have been writing Jon Walters off for six years now, telling us he's out of his depth at Premier League level and that he doesn't offer us anything. Over those years he has clocked up over 200 appearances for us and is our highest Premier League goalscorer of all time, £2.75 million well spent I'd say. Is he as effective as he was a few years ago? Probably not, but still doesn't mean he still doesn't have a role to play in our squad.

It was more tongue in cheek to be honest mate I missed off the winkey smiley bollocks. I've always been a big fan of Walters, just all in all he's managed to miss the only few chances we've managed to create this season so far. And with how bad we are at creating we really need players on the end of these chances to be scoring.
