Far too early to say but there should be a fairly clear picture in about 5 games time. There are a lot of things that need to improve fairly quickly now - we have had months to address our failings so it's time to stop bleating about ref's, injuries and whatever and just get it sorted. For me by far the worst area is both fullbacks. Fullbacks in the modern game need to be speed merchants, we do not have a single fullback who is fast enough. This should have been addressed over the summer. Could not agree more - just said as much in fact on the Cameron thread.

So its not only me who sees the glaringly obvious then, i wonder gow many more do. None of our fullbacks can do the job they are being asked to do, you could forgive a lack of speed if there delivery was good but its not. We are so slow in everything we do, our mistakes get punished as a result.

The manager has to get the players to do what they can do, the full backs were repeatadly caught up field, that is down to the instructions given to the players. If they don't have the pace to recover, you don't ask them to do it, especially against a team like Spurs, who did the same to us last year.

Oh well, there is more to life than the premier league. If we had the championship live and not on dodgy streams for all ex pats I would agree..

Unfortunately the signs are there:-
shocking form carrying on from the back end of lst season big signings not proving there worth a divided fan base when it comes to our manager players reacting to fans ( Arnie )
Its not looking good, it really isnt.

And a good thing too. I hate this premier league. Give me some good old championship football any time. And to all the newer Stoke supporters, normal service will be resumed. Welcome to hard times.
