I don't know anything about the firm they have contracted to do the work but ANYTHING must surely be better than what we have at the moment both in the retail operation and on the general Official site! So this news gets a cautious thumbs up from me.

The interactive match part..does this mean I can join in and help Pieters cross a ball? Nah, it means you go down with a pull before half time and miss the next 6 games.

Does she know Pulis left three years ago?

Hopefully they will understand that less is more, and that not everything has to be all bells and whistles.
Take the fixture list, for example. I use this page a lot, especially when we have games moved for the TV. What do I want from it? A simple, plainly formatted list of fixtures, with dates and kick off times. Nothing else. What do we get? The page loads at a crawl because it's too busy trying to load all of the fancy things elsewhere on the page. I don't need to know what's new on Stoke City player, or to see a league table cropped so that it only shows us and the teams adjacent to us. I really don't need a calendar or liftshare thing. White text on a black background is also abhorrent.
The mobile page is even worse. You can only view fixtures one month at a time, and to navigate through them you have one of those clunky buttons to press that eventually moves to the next month. It looks perfectly nice, but it's not fit for use.

Have Swansea only just sign up to them too because they have the same site as us at the mo?

Ours is awful. I saw a thing about which team had the best website a few months back. If I remember I think Spirs was quite a good one. Maybe.

To be fair the website is much better than it was 3 years ago. Another upgrade is always welcome though.

They also run everton's and Aston Villas websites and online shops. This has been in the pipeline for a number of years as our longterm contract with the current providers finally runs out this year. Hopefully jon sidaway and his team are given a decent budget and adequate staffing as they do there best considering we have one of the smallest media teams in the top 2 divisions

Yes, the simpler the better, especially for my old PC and netbook On a personal note, can anyone recommend a good free site/service to create my own website? Cheers!

Have Swansea only just sign up to them too because they have the same site as us at the mo? The majority of football league clubs have the same template, courtesy of a contract signed when were in the Championship. Having read the post in detail, it would seem Swansea have just signed up, yes...

Long overdue. If the "interactive match centre" means I can put a firecracker up Imbula's backside I'm all for it.
