The Hughes era is over, of that I am certain. He will walk I reckon. Not sure when, but soon.

I think we should have made some positive subs at Half Time with Sobhi on and Walters off. The performance today can only be blamed on Mark Hughes
I think we should play Grant in goal next match?

We briefly showed some promise in the first five seconds the rest was shit. We could have the best striker in the world and still never score. Now we are under pressure to get a win more than ever and I don't know when that will be, all the other teams will see us as a chance for points. What a rubbish start to my Sunday morning.....again

It wasn't as bad as the score suggests.
We are without a right hand side of the team through injuries: Butland, Johnson, Affelay, Diouf, Shaqiri - that's half a team.
Bony and Bruno did OK, but obviously need games. Allen and Adam looked solid.
Shawcross, Imbula and Walters disappointed though, just not fast enough.
The problem is defence and balance. As we didn't get Redmond, I'd like to see Arnie on the right and Sobhi on the left, because we need to create more.
But we've let in 4 or more 5 times in 10 games. So we need to work on stopping that. Maybe 4-1-4-1 will help.
We were too slow and gave the Spurs attack WAY too much time and space.
But all this is fixable with fitness and tactical training.

Agree with most of that but "fixable with fitness and tactical training"!! Both should be in place before the season begins!! On the upside if Ryan's chance from the corner at 0-1 had gone in, it may of been a different outcome, that said we deserved sweet FA. 😒

Try to resist the temptation to post soon after a game prefer to calm down and think, a bit of advice our manager would do well to take. Yes refereeing decisions are going against us but not just us the penalty Arsenal were given yesterday was as laughable as any decision that has gone against us and gifted them 3 points. We need to concentrate on how the world actually is and deal with it rather than get wound up about how we think it should be. Iike many others am unsettled by the way the new directives are being implemented or not as the case may be but the private company which provides officials are unlikely to take any notice of us so move on. The manager and coaching staff can influence their own behaviour, they can man manage, they can affect fitness levels, they can affect the teams tactics and performance levels, these areas lost the game yesterday not match officials doing their incompetent best. If we sort these areas out any issues with how the officials are performing will be highlighted to a far greater degree than a manager having a post game tantrum which is normally interpreted as diverting attention from their own and their teams shortcomings.

We have the players, but unfortunately not the manager. We have come a long way since the Pulis era, we outgrew him. We have now done the same with Sparky, IMO. We need a better manager, to get better results now we have better players. Who that is though I have no idea. And FFS we cannot keep wheeling out a bloater like Charlie Adam while someone with the talents of Sobhi sits on the bench. We can't keep persevering with players like SJW, as much as it hurts to say it. We've moved on. Hughes is holding a potentially great team back.
