I feel for Walters. He knows what to do, just doesn't seem like his body is cooperating with his mind. I'd say that for everyone over 31 in our side today.

Defensively we have no idea as a team. It's not the defenders fault in the main, it's the whole teams attitude towards shape and defense. It can't be that hard to work on holding a good defensive shape in training surely? My daughter's U10 team works more on defensive shape I reckon

This is really weird but it looks to me that the players have just given up. That's poor. Seems to be the case whenever they go more than 1 behind. Discipline just goes. its confidence nobody in the team has any at the moment.

Some probably are - don't think Given has done much wrong. The reason I'd drop those two are because they are important players and a game out might actually do them some good. They've been nowhere near their level this season. Imbula has been a shadow of himself so far this season and Pieters seems to have lost his confidence. So dropping a player boosts his confidence!! Imbula has probably been the best of the poor midfielders today. Allen and Whelan certainly been worse. No dropping him and then putting him back in does, it's pretty simple really. Imbula has done nothing, hardly put a tackle in and they've broke at ease with him jogging back. Offered very little going forward as well. Whelan poor as well, as I said originally - harsh to single people out - but Imbula cost £18m and Whelan £500k - who was paying their money back today? Put simply I would drop those two because they are playing nowhere near their capability and haven't all season. I expect more from them.

Another Shambles worst start for 30 years now .
I have for weeks said it would be WBA but I'm not sure he will get that long a capitulation next week and he will be gone .
Actually think he is a deadman walking now regardless , results are one thing but the lack of shape ,fight pattern or consistency of selection suggest the players have lost faith as much as the lack Of backing in the window suggest so might have he board .
The decisions in the window have killed us and to be frank I'm not sure anyone will get a tune out of this lot until Butland is fit , the decisions around woolly and Wilson looking dafter by the day . Wolly we haven't won a game for 2 years without him and he is on loan madness
key questions 1 when 2 who most of us know who we don't want but few identify an obvious replacement 3 will it make any difference to this group 4 will CKP and his team stick around
ones thing I'm sure of though is sadly today means the end of huge Hughes era its had many positives but window after window of buying failed or injury prone players and lack of balance in investment have undermined the good work .indded imbula signing wil be seen as the beginning of the end . Of course the biggest question of all will the CEO be held accountable for the transfer windows which have contributed to the demise

So are you. It's been posted 20 times. All you have done is say you want Hughes out. How will that help ? It's not all his fault it's the team that aren't turning up No I have not at all, look through my posts.

We need change and we need it fast. Our team should not be losing 4-0 to Tottenham. I'm sorry, but it really is embarrasing. I couldn't give a rats arse if Hughes walked.

I don't get over for more than a game or two a season, but unfotunately, I did see the famous Birmingham City disaster. Stoke played today like they did that day = completely clueless and without a shred of pride. If Spurs had wanted a couple more they were there for the taking. That has to be down to the manager at this point.

Conceding four goals at home is a bad situation, but I'm just as much concerned about us not scoring, especially after having so much of the play in the first half.
Comparing & contrasting the two teams today, when Spurs broke out of defence into attack, they had maximum width on both sides of the pitch. Goals & scoring opportunities came from cutting the ball back from the byeline for incoming runners.
Whereas Stoke didn't have the same attacking width, because Arnie & others cut inside in the last third of the field. I think that this makes us an easy team to defend against & probably accounts for our lack of goals.
( I'm not having a go at Arnie or any other player, I'm merely making an observation about our style of play. We need more crosses from the byeline . Maybe Ramadan could do this for us )

My thoughts
1 ) Bested by a much better football team again (Spurs) - 2nd time in 6 months - outclassed at times even
not helped by though
2) yet another absolutely bizarre and hopelessly biased performance by the match day officials - is there a vendetta? are they incompetent ? or- are they just plain corrupt ?
(Im begining to wonder again)
3) some of our players so totally outclassed man for man today as to be embaresssing - Im talking,
Whelan Cameron, Walters and Given.
( not premier league even today)
4)Given our frailities andrecent record - Id have gone for a more solid uncomplicated 4:4:2
(including Bojan and having Bony and Arnie left 'up top')
Good news
Debutees looked to be a clear improvement -and Joe Allen - Ryan Shawcross -and Arnie looked more than decent today too
And finally -this league is all about winning ten matches - you do that and the other points needed, find themselves
we've got 34 fictures left so can they win ten -given what we've seen ? and - who we've played ?
answer is - of course ! so, those other threads about Hughes and relegation are to my eyes knicker wetting and -utter rubbish
and finally the crowd - better today I thought - especially first half

Do you know, Spurs are a bloody brilliant side, they are good to watch, they are so good that they were playing with us at end like a cat toying with a mouse, they have spent zilions of pounds and have a good manager, just like Man City. They basically ripped us apart. End of. Still not a happy bunny!
