Good evening everybody. Robbed by another bad ref decison again. Thought we played ok yesterdays in spells. But we are desperate for 2 new strikers and 2 defenders. Pieters was the worst player on the pitch and Diouf looked lost. Any news on the transfer front guys.

Last season I think it it took us 7 games to get a win.
Over the season we lost 7 at home and 8 away.
If we were predicting this season to end with 51 points, then maybe a home loss to Man City an away loss and Everton possibly only a draw at Middlesbrough would be realistic predictions
It's very important to get something from our next home game v Spurs
We do need some / more goals.
Frustrating to watch players opting to pass rather than take on a shot.
We have the players who can provide the goals - best formation? do we have any idea what this is?
We also have 25,000+ fans with greater expectations, rightly so after 2 very good seasons
We may not get any more signings in
We need to stick with MH and co and get behind whoever plays
Just a thought, maybe The Britannia Stadium was more of a fortress?

Yesterday gave e reason for optimism - we played with more intensity and pace. After Spurs we have 6 games against bottom half teams. If we average 2 points a game over those 7 games we'll be on our way. If not it's going to rough. See another post: oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/259988/optimism

Good evening Ange and Russ. Didn't think we played poor against Everton Another poor decision that's cost us a point. I get the sense that Stoke fans are bored with mark Hughes

If we don't get any new signings in and we lose to Tottenham. The bear pit will become the bitter pit.

Just a thought, maybe The Britannia Stadium was more of a fortress?[/quote] As opposed to The Bet 365 Would like to see Sakho here on loan Players wages ? To get the "next step' player Bony, Sturridge? (suggested on here) will demand bigger wages Most players in Europe I won't have heard of, but MH and co will know of them It's frustrating to see the likes of Remy sign for competitors, we may not have been after him? So other than Bony, Sturridge and Van Persie I can't think of anyone else

Why because they say it as it is? Do they really? They offer an opinion, mainly from a bygone age. Has Ange said yet that we need Walters in the side because he runs around a lot?

Good evening everybody. Robbed by another bad ref decison again. Thought we played ok yesterdays in spells. But we are desperate for 2 new strikers and 2 defenders. Pieters was the worst player on the pitch and Diouf looked lost. Any news on the transfer front guys. Apparently every single Everton player created a chance. In all they created more chances than any other team has since February. If true, we were saved by poor shooting and good goalkeeping. Folk are also saying we have conceded more goals in 2016 than any other team in the Prem. What is it, 5 shots on target this season (one a penalty and one a free kick). This suggests we are wide open at the back and creating nothing up front. I'm really worried and I don't think I am the only one.

That structure on wages will only have one eventual outcome. Relegation.

I'm in the minority but I'm not worried.
Allen and Sobhi are great signings, and add real quality to the squad instead of adding players for the sake of it e.g. West Ham.
Tipping point is whether we sign the CF and CB.
Let's see in Oct where we're at.

Even if we do manage to sign a new striker we need better service up front or he will not score any more than at present.
I am at a loss to understand why we have arrived 3 days from the end of the window and are in this situation. IS it solely down to Scholes, or are we even now not considered an attractive option, or will we still not pay the going rate for players wages.
Even now there are no rumours of any players linked with us. We should go for Bony or Sturridge (OR BOTH), or even Ings,. We need a right winger, centre back and left back to replace Eric as he has been dire for ages, and also a midfield destroyer.
The next few days are crucial for our Premier League status, and probably Hughes' position as manager.

So her opinion differs from Yours so that makes it 'like your arse' How arrogant I disagreed with the opinion it's a great show. I also disagreed that they tell it 'like it is'. They don't, they offer their opinions which they should, it's their show. Good for them. When I listened to it I disagreed with virtually everything they said, hence great show my arse.
