Mega signing by West Ham - they managed to get Simone ZAZA
How I would have loved to see him join Stoke
He was a realistic target imo
Massive up-grade on what we have up front at the moment

They're welcome to him for £30m, what's he done to justify that price? After thinking they were going to get Batshuayi or Lacezzette they've ended up with Zaza, pretty funny really.

They only become 'mega' when they start to deliver. We should know that better than most.

If he's the player who pranced about missing one of the most ridiculous penalties of all time then they can stick him up their arse alongside their pathetic bubble machine.

They've signed 11 players so far proving it can be done. Daft comment, and that's comparing it to the shite posted on this place. Sure - let's go out and sign fuck loads of mediocrity, like they have, just to placate our impatient fans. Better than signing nothing, yes, maybe, occasionally - but we've added quality to our squad in Allen and Sobhi. I can't wait to read the posts when we get in the CB and CF.

I don't think Zaza is made for the Prem, too technical a player should have stayed in Italy or gone to Spain. He will turtle when they start kicking lumps out of him when he is outside of London playing in the "provinces."

30 million is stupid money, glad we stayed away for that much. Seems like the tactic is to stay away from every player because of the stupid fees that are being paid but I'm not sure it's such a great idea given that - 1. The academy produces nothing of the required standard 2. The scouting at the club has hardly unravelled any hidden gems over the past years - all unknown players who were brought in were unknown for a very good reason - they were crap. Dionatan Teixeira tops that particular list

Does anyone think we should be paying much less for a striker? It's ridiculous but it's the going rate for talent, if we take a risk on another Joselu it will end a similar way

Does that mean he is cheap or more expensive if he doesn't play??? My understanding is he is on loan. As for WHU signing 11 players, Stoke did last summer and made the biggest signing in Europe last January, are fans really expecting the club to change the team every couple of years?
