Came on with 12 minutes to go, had one good moment near the Everton goal but it came to nothing, don't recall him touching the ball after that. Didn't bother running back when we lost the ball. Imo, he's not ready to play in the premier league, one month of serious training required to get him up to speed.

Had no chance to get into the game or really prove himself.

Didn't really have chances, way to early to start saying he isn't good enough/ready.

Would be unfair to judge the lad. But I'm not having he's any worse than diouf or Walters on the wing

He needs to cross and/or shoot a little quicker. He turns inside once too many, as Assaidi used to. Hopefully he learns, but at the moment he's doing exactly what our ineffective wingers are doing.

I want to see him play the full 90, not 12 minutes here or 6 minutes there. Perhaps against Bournemouth, Sunderland or Palace.
Only then will Sparky appreciate his potential. And only then will we have answers to our questions.

And only then will we have answers to our questions. Agree with this, he's been brought on in league games with minutes to go when we're trying to come from behind and he is trying too hard. Despite that you can see the raw talent and I'd like to see him grow into a game rather than chase it.

Had a great run in on goal at Everton in the dying minutes, showing plenty of skill and ability to beat his marker. It's obviously early days and don't want to get too carried away, ... but ... get the ball out to him and I'm confident he will be regularly carving out opportunities for his team mates!

Given time this guy will give us the Chambelain buzz, I'm convinced of it.

Always looks very positive and clearly has great skill and can easily beat a man!
you can see where the excitement comes from with him that's for sure

I hope he gets more minutes next match and hopefully it's at the expense of Jon Walters minutes.

gets up on his toes and looks over his shoulder as the ball his coming to him
good at lots of thing and very likeable
has to start chasing back to help pieters out (like Arni) when we lose the ball though . Starting from the next match :-)

Once he gets a proper run in the first team, I reckon he'll become a starter.

Obviously has a lot of skill, tries to be direct and looks for the ball, but hopelessly one-footed and doesn't look to cover his full back anywhere near enough. Its early days and we have only seen snippets of him in competitive action, if he can work on his left foot and understanding of the defensive side of his role, he will be an excellent player for us in a season or two.

I think he'll push Walters out of the side eventually just looking at his awareness and passing range on the edge. Looks a real talent if coached up.

Jesus wept, he's on for 12 minutes in a game were losing and some peoples main concern is he's not tracking back helping the defenders. Do we not want our flair attacking players in a position where they can break away and score goals,
