I'm rather concerned I might be the only Stokie in attendance given the views people have expressed about our inclusion in the tournament, I'm not particularly happy about the format of the tournament myself but it's a good opportunity to watch our youngsters at a tenner a ticket so I'm looking forward to it. Is anybody else going? We've only took an allocation of 300 and I'll be surprised if we shift those!

I'm going and will hopefully be able to do Morecambe so as to tick another ground off the list.

I'm going and will hopefully be able to do Morecambe so as to tick another ground off the list. At least they'll be two of us then! I'm going to do Morecambe as well, only about an hour away on the train for me from Dalton in Cumbria, the shortest journey I'll make to a Stoke game for quite a while I imagine! Been to the Globe Arena a couple of times, it's pretty decent for League Two level, far better than their old ground anyway! I'll be interested to see how many we get in for the Bury home game, can't see it being much more than 2 or 3 thousand. If the club have got any sense they'll make it free to ST holders.

I'm hoping you're the only ones there, we really shouldn't be in it, the only way to stop it is not to turn up.

I'll be there cos it's only just up the road. Much nearer than home games and I'd quite like to see some of these young'uns in action.
I think it's ridiculous that we're in the competition, but I also reckon we'll get pasted by the grownups. Anyway, I'm going. Sorry!

It's even closer to my house than Elland Road, so I'll be going. That makes three or four of us for definite - we might even reach 10.

any self righteous football fan should boycott this competition. its all about filling wembley for the final so the fa can make££££££ [no doubt to share amongst themselves again] you can count it in your grounds visited if you wish but personally you might as well go stand outside Morecombe now and say you have ticked the box.

Be nice for some posters to feed back on how the youth do. A few extra opinions will be ace.

It needs to be advertised more by the club, didn't know who we were playing and when, if we can't get a couple of thousand to home game's there's no point opening the turnstiles.

Yes should be boycotted by all fans of prem clubs ....when we reached the final against Stockport it was the best day and feeling I had as a stoke fan ,it was what we fans dreamed of ,now I wouldn't want that opportunity from happening to small lower league clubs fans just so fa can fill their pockets ...i for one will not go to any of these fixtures in this cup until we are in it because we are in the bottom two leagues ( hopefully Tha never happens

The righteous are preaching again. Yes I think the principle is wrong as I do the PL with all it's money, but I still go to the games.
I hope to go just to see the younger players and what standard they are at. At least they can play at decent ground being watched by an old style reserve team game crowd.
I rang the ticket office yesterday and plenty of tickets left, I asked if you could pay on the night but they did not know. I expect only one or two stands will be open and I will hope common sense prevails and my tenner on the night gets me in.

Further I do hope the final is between two lower league clubs and they can enjoy their day out.

I doubt our team will qualify out of the group and I think something needs to be done about getting some of our younger lads playing mens football so I think they'll learn a lot from these 3 games.

I hope to go just to see the younger players and what standard they are at. At least they can play at decent ground being watched by an old style reserve team game crowd. Agree with that mate. I've signed numerous petitions over the years regarding the cost of match tickets, I've still paid it though because at the end of the day I'm just a supporter who wants to watch his team and I'd much rather be at the game than sat at home moaning about the prices. I'm not entirely happy about the format of this competition but I still want to watch the game, and quite honestly I don't think 50-100 Stoke supporters attending on Tuesday will have any bearing on the future of this competition format. A lot of the football league clubs have actually voted in favour of the changes so from a financial point of view they will benefit from having as many people there as possible as well. It'll be a good test for our youngsters and hopefully they will benefit from it and develop their games.
