Theres a noticeable lack of metal on here
I would list these as probably the best in terms of significance to the genre - although they aren't all my favs to be frank & some are more hard rock but have to be included
In no real order (that would be impossible)
ACDC Back In Black Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin 1 Iron Maiden Number Of The Beast Judas Priest Screaming For Vengeance Metallica Master Of Puppets Black Sabbath Paranoid Motorhead Ace Of Spades Motley Crue Shout At The Devil Slayer Reign In Blood Rush 2112
As I say many of those bands, I could substitute albums I prefer by them but these seem to be the landmark ones. Its also hard to leave out the likes of Deep Purple and some may say Kiss too (but I couldn't include them as for me they're the worst band in the history of the genre)
