2 games we've played one against one of the champion's elect. 108 points left to play for and we did not put on a 4-1 defeat worthy performance it flattered them more than we were embarressed. Yes there where flaws yes there were problems, we could spend the rest of the season higlighting all of the mistakes and what ifs. Or we could buck up chest out and get behind the team i am. VIS UNITA FORTIOR.

Or we could crate a chance.
I'm not normally so pessimistic, but I have to admit I'm worried, nothings been addressed.

I Tweeted as I left the ground that it's not often you lose 4-1 and think you've played well but I did today.
Thing with message boards is that all the issues you raise are highlighted in one condensed format so it might appear more doom and gloom than it actually is.
I've been on about some of the poor stuff tonight even though I thought we were quite decent today.

Ignore the Biscuit brigade and the how dare you have a go at Hughes brigade and most comments are very valid re fullbacks, concerns over Ryan and our remaining issues with lack of goal threats never mind goals Joe Allen was immense but we have so far, yet again, failed to strengthen on our biggest weaknesses

The contra view accepting it's all about opinions Ian I'm utterly sick of we don't deserve to lose 4-1 we've done it twice in 4 home games . We absolutely got what we deserved and until we make some major improvments we will contnue to get what we deserve. I don't expect another sniff of a point until WBA .

I don't care if we're playing Crystal Palace or Barcelona, we can't be conceding four goals at home if we want to be a top-10 team. We've had more than 12 months to sort the center half situation out and we've done nowt about it. I think I have every right to be very, very pissed off.

Ive lost track now; it gets more & more like the night of the long knives on here after every result Probably because we haven't won yet.The fans are getting impatient. If we lose on Saturday which is likely,i don't think i will bother coming on. If we lose on Tuesday, well can you imagine?

We really are not talking about just this game or even the last two games. This is all part of rather a long drawn out malaise that has lasted for a considerable time. Need some signs that things are progressing and we are getting back on track.

We've got to be careful that we don't bury our heads in the sand to our current frailties. We might all disagree as to what they exactly are, and where we need to strengthen or change, but only a fool would admit that everything is rosy in the garden, because it plainly isn't. We look rocky at the back and we are not creating anywhere near enough chances. No clear cut chances in open play last week and only one real chance (from a bloody right back!) this week. It's not enough, nowhere near enough.
Has it got to the stage of calling for the manager? No, but I question how long it will take for the first cries to appear.

The issue is that there's no nuance on here. It's either "everything is fine and only a traitor would question anything that Hughes does" or "everything is awful, Ryan needs stripping of the captaincy and we're doomed". The reality, as ever, is somewhere in between. We've made great progress but there are some really worrying issues that need addressing soon

People are worried ,it shows they care for the club and team. Its taken us years to get where we are, unless you have lived supporting Stoke over the last 40+ years then you may not understand the crap we have had to put up with, toss players empty terraces .We don't want to go back to those days.Football can be cruel and I bet if you asked a lot of teams in the championship about how long they have been in there without any chance of getting back. You would be worried with our present squad.

Won 5, Drawn 4, Lost 6. 19 points from 15 games, average 1.26pts per game, 48 over a season (would have finished 11th last season with that points tally).

Score flattered them they weren't that good imo but due to the fact we still haven't addressed the issues from last season we still came out second best I just hope Hughes can find a second keeper CB cover for left back, DM and Striker in two weeks as this is the issue of no strength in depth the bench today looked light
