I have to admit I'm genuinely struggling to see what aspect of our performances in the last say 20 games suggests we are a team of mid-table quality. We can't just keep making the same mistakes and using the same confused tactics. Something does need to change for the better. Relegation - well it certainly shouldn't be on the agenda with our individual quality but it's a team game. The points total from our last 19 games over the course of a season would give us dead on 40 points, just about safe. The problem for Hughes is that I don't think that kind of form meets the expectations of the club and fans anymore. During that time we've been thrashed by three goals plus at least 5 times by my reckoning and there have been several other games where we have been lucky not to be hammered. since January there are some very worrying trends emerging. The most obvious one being that we are very easy to score against. Hughes, you've got a lot of work to do in this transfer window! Agree with all that but I think he and his team have even more work to do sorting out some basic tactics and organisation. We are not (and haven't for a long time) even getting the best out of what we already have!

We have just lost to one of the best sides in the world who have spent hundreds of millions buying the best players and have just employed the best manager around, and people are suggesting we are relegation certainties. Get a fucking grip and get in the real world, sometimes you play a team that is simply on a different level on the day. My god you're boring

We are not, and haven't for a long time, even getting the best out of what we already have! Absolutely. It's a bizarre situation. the manager has achieved consecutive top half finishes. We're all delighted by that. But our form since January is a couple more defeats away from putting Hughes under pressure. We could easily lose the next 3 games.we have a very unfortunate run of games. If that happens questions are going to be asked about what has gone wrong. I strongly believe Hughes is going to be our manager for a long time and could bring us a major trophy but there is no doubt we are now an unbalanced squad and woefully short of premier league quality in defence and arguably in attack. This is a massive test for Hughes to get through these next few games retaining the credit he as at the bank

Ffs we didnt play shit today At 0-0 Drama Queen (as predicted by several on here last night) changes the game Without that they dont get a 2nd (they might but in my honest opinion it is not a given so game changing decision by an incompetant - cheating-official) 0-0 ht We dont benefit from a dodgy peno after Drama Queen and lino infront of DPD are instructed that they have messed up BIG TIME 2nd half we go toe to toe with a PLC ( bothMCFC & PL) that has spent millions (mcfc not pl) more than us at 0-0 instead of 1-2 I feared about today and thought we did well, considering We have areas that need strenthening, this we know, we are not perfect, perfection nowadays costs billions not millions I was proud of SCFC today but i actually dospise PL and Drama Queen who (in my opinion are corrupt) In the PL it is fine margines when Mike Drama Queen is added tio the mix we really do not stand a chance PL is (in my opinion) Corrupt ......... Just my opibinion but PC brigade havent banned that yet lol

Careful not to make yourself look silly again, or you might have to change your username for the fourth time Join in with him instead of disagreeing...after all, predicting the inevitable demise of the club after 2 games every single bloody season to the point of tedium apparently makes you more "exciting" as a poster

We've conceded four goals in that period four times. That's relegation form.

Thank fuck for some Sanity! Some tits on Here! Sanity? Man City were okay. Nothing special. We lost because we can not fucking defend. You're right about Man City being nothing special. That, and the fact that we created a lot of our own problems, rubbed the salt in. Had they been in brilliant form and hammered us 4-1 it would've been easier to take. As far as relegation is concerned, it's the same now as it has been for years - any 3 of half the Prem could go down. At the beginning of last season nobody expected Bournemouth to survive or Villa and Newcastle to go down.

I well aware Citeh are a top-class side, it's the fact that the areas of the team that needed rectifying from last season have so far not been addressed that's starting to piss me off. Our form since January has been largely woeful, it's not like we're talking about a recent trend. Even West Ham should have been 3-0 up at HT last May
Still, it's another thrapping to add to the 2016 collection.
