Well, now, this is very interesting : the colour of the fucking seats ( that won't be visible anyway) or how the team actually perform when we are watching them
Hard choice....nope, I reckon after a lot of thought I couldn't give a fuck about the seats ( as long as I've got one it can be purple and green for me ) and care rather more for what I'm watching
Wow, that was a hard call to make

Looks like I've got a white seat. Not sure how to feel about this, it's all rather traumatic and overwhelming. Stiff upper lip lad and you'll be alright.

The whole stadium is getting new seats over the next few years, boothen and south next year along with the corner. The main stand last Be good if we can buy our seats with this. Out of interest, what would you do with a faded old plastic red seat?

I want a black and white seat in ode to the Fail, so I could have it right next to my arse for 90 minutes.

Surely it wouldn't have cost that much more just to replace the whole stand up to the edge of the Boothen End? Oh well I suppose there will be arses on the seats most of the time when the camera's are there anyway, but you do wonder about our clubs thinking at times.

It looks so cheap prob use the seats they ripped up out of seddon and use them for the corner when they build it next summer just to save money.

It's funny/poor how the commentators have still been describing the bet365 as the Britannia still for their build up to tomorrow's televised match !! Sure Peter will be cringing if he's watching..! Especially as bet365 are the main sponsors of the Friday night action.

Especially as bet365 are the main sponsors of the Friday night action. I honestly think some people genuinely believe the Britannia Stadium is called the Britannia Stadium and we weren't just calling out the sponsors name!

That's what I always wished the naming rights had stayed as, Britannia has much more meaning than simply the defunct building society. It had a ring to it and it quickly became our adopted home after the Victoria Ground era was closed down.
Clearly its just the commercial age we live in but stadium names should never be changed or messed with.

The last time I saw a half finished stand in use, the seats were yellow and the soap in the bogs came with instructions.

I don't know about anyone else, but I found the new seats to be really uncomfortable. It seems to me that the space between your seat and the one in front has been reduced as my legs are rammed up against the seat in front due to a metal bar going across the back which must be about an inch thick , whereas before it was just plastic and no metal. When I looked down the rows a lot of other folk had their knees up against the seat in front of even shoved up above the inflexible metal bar. Also it seem that the back of the seat may have a greater built-in recline angle
My knees were really painful for a few hours after the game, so , beware of what you wish for
It will probably only affect folk 5 foot 10 inches tall and over
Obviously wasn't tested out enough

Obviously wasn't tested out enough I totally agree there is far less space for your knees. The club need to rethink this and replace them with something better before buying any more. We have got a 19 and a 19a on our row. The old seats are much better.

The joys of being a short arse will benefit me then when and if the whole stadium ever gets new seats. Will always be the Britt to me but I'm not losing any sleep over the BET365 logo. Just think the seats look weird now. One for the supporters council

Is it just me or have the club managed to reduce the legroom with the new seats. I was so uncomfortable yesterday.

It's not just you mate, several people have mentioned it on this thread. oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/259592/seats-pitch-looking-good?page=3Luckily my seat hasn't changed, as I'm 6'3". It's something the Supporters Council need to get onto pronto I would have thought.

Now I'm really worried I didn't think it was possible to be any less comfortable than my unchanged as yet seat but maybe they've managed it.

You only have to look at the difference in the gap between the old and new where the seats meet to see there is far less room.
It was incredibly uncomfortable, I can see this being my last season I can't sit like this every match.
sid must have little legs he can tuck away, my knees won't cope with this.

I've paid for a premium seat for years and been forced to sit on those flimsy plastic faded ones.
At long last I had a comfortable seat on which to sit my premium arse.
If the rest of the ground is upgraded I'll be demanding that every member of the supporters council resign along with Scholes, Hughes and the entire coates family
