Another side note, the goal music aswell is a massive no no, ditch the clappers and the music and you're on to something Thank you, interesting to hear. What worries me is we've now got a reputation because of using clap banners, which I'm not keen on. At the same time though from my point of view (and the club's point of view), the younger fans seem to like the clap banners, it encourages them to join in with the atmosphere so it's hard to take that away from them. Again the goal music is the same, although at least it's Kasabian from Leicester, so a bit more original. In my ideal world we'd have no clappers, no goal music, and just contiune to create the atmosphere we do at home - we've got the potential to, it's just takes effort. Perhaps now our fan base know what a difference our support makes, we will start to be consistently good at home in terms of atmosphere, I really hope so anyway. Clappers for me are small time and should be reserved for plastic clubs with no atmosphere like Brighton. Leicester City are a traditional club who should be better than that. I think last season with the results you got the atmosphere would have been bouncing without the clappers, they're just a needless annoying American thing.

I've said it many times before, last season our home atmosphere would still be up there with the best even without the use of clappers. Have to say it'd be nice to have a break from them because certain chants go too quickly because of the clapping. It's probably more of a consistent noise I suppose but I'd like to see what our atmosphere is like with just our hands. I use my hands personally...

Everton is a nice, traditional English ground. West Brom is good, as is Stoke.

I'm basing it on appearance and what I've heard from our own fans. Perhaps not a personal favourite away day, more of a general comment because I like your ground overall .

I don't know why but I always loved Portsmouth, not sure if it was because my first parentless away day was there but had some great times on the south coast, the ground is a tip but a proper ground and plenty of ale houses

Well I think the best away days I have had are at Villa, Leicester, Liverpool, West Ham.

I remember going to Filbert Street a few times. What a strange shaped ground that was? One big end and stand two tiny low stands. Away fans were stuck in the corner of the 'home' stand next to the tiny side stand. How times change In the 70's we were stuck in some weird split cage GD

I love the older grounds - very few of the newer ones have much "soul". I preferred Filbert St, Maine Road etc, and will miss WHL (the 1-0 win 6 years ago sticks out as a personal favourite) when it goes. Other personal faves - Fratton Park, The Hawthorns, Hillsborough, Ewood Park and Villa Park. Of the newer ones, Southampton, Derby and Reading have been done well.

Fine until we scored

I've been interested to ask actually - what do you think of Leicester as an away day guys? Not sure if it's just me but I always wonder what my own team's ground (Leicester) is like for an away day in terms of atmosphere, what it's like in the away end and the stadium itself etc. We get a lot of stick for clap banners which is worrying for me... In terms of *just* away ends - I like yourselves Stoke, West Brom and Arsenal off the top of my head. Not lying here though, when you sang 'Delilah' back in the 2014-15 season at our place, it was the loudest chant I heard all season, and I was at the other end of the ground. You and Villa were the best in that season. This was one of my favourite away days. Bojan the wizard's goal and a £200 accumulator win. I like Leicester away. We always go in the boozer opposite the train station then a taxi to the ground. Decent seats, following and normally a belting atmosphere. Clappers are awful as is the goal music, but none of them worse than that drum.

Clappers are awful as is the goal music, but none of them worse than that drum. Thanks for the video clip, it sounded like a top away day for you, especially with the £200 quid win. Our ground is unique in the fact the away fans are housed in the corner, and the home fans are either side of the away end, hence why the atmosphere can be proper. I do know what you mean about the clappers, goal music, and the drum. I can't deny I'd prefer it if we didn't have these, but I suppose it works for us so I doubt the club will change it. However, if we contiune to be successful on the pitch, with our current matchday set up, then so be it I suppose, I'd much rather have success on the pitch than the worry about the clappers, goal music and drum (I do concern myself about it though, have to admit). Great to hear feedback though, it's interesting
