Deals always got done and Hughes like with the Allen one seems to be the trump card. It's been interesting to see the Egyptians complaining about how we've treated them so far and some of the things that go on in the media side. All of which still show we're lacking off the field. |

Credit where credit is due he and his group have given us the basis now for the best window in recent history .
But they do need to drive on and take it otherwise the moment passes we can't show the hesitation or procrastination we have shown with the stadium the corporate offering the match day , the web , the shop in the market .
Fair do's it's a fantastic base now go on and drive the advantage home with King Peter firmly behind you and and a very attractive team and management team to attract what we need .

We will get offered players that we turn down every window and we target players that either don't want to come or the club says no. We are trying the same as every other club. I am not a fan of Scholes but credit for getting it done it was probably a bit of a nightmare.
I hope Tony buys Enstone a drink next time he bumps into him. Everton ditching their interest certainly was a factor
