Some more new rules: You can now be red carded pre match. Any time from pitch inspection onwards If a player needs injury treatment from a foul that the opposition player gets carded for, he doesn't need to leave field for treatment An "accidental last man foul" isn't a direct red card Illegally feinting on a penalty will now get you booked If play is stopped to deal with management or a substitute a free kick or penalty will be awarded not a drop ball no more Under clothing must be the same colour as your strip Handball is no only a direct booking of it stops a promising attack The ball must clearly move when taking a corner or indirect free kick, you just lightly stand on the ball

They had the extra time fourth sub thing in the Copa America final but I don't think the managers knew about it because neither used it and some players were dead on their feet.

That not having to leave the field for an injury where a player has been fouled by someone who is subsequently booked is a top idea and one I suggested on here last season and got told it wouldn't work. It's the only fair way to deal with it and it was an Ashley Williams foul on Shaq that made my mind up this rule needed binning off. To see Williams Foul Shaq, get booked but to then resume his defensive duties to defend the resulting free kick in no way seemed fair considering Shaq had to leave the pitch so in effect leaving us a player down for the resulting free kick was a farce!

I've always thought that there should be a 4th sub allowed for extra time. If undergarments have to be the same colour as the strip - where do we get red and white base layers to wear under the striped shirt? And do they have to be striped or will red and white hoops be acceptable?

Another opportunity for struggling teams to waste time!

I've always said that we need a fourth sub in extra time. If you get 3 subs for 90 minutes, you should get 4 subs for 120. It makes sense.
