Starting saturday
CHINESE SUPER LEAGUE ON SKY
Heard about all those players heading to China for huge transfer fees? Hulk, Jackson Martinez, Ramires etc...
Well, for the next three seasons you can watch them live on Sky Sports.
The first match to be shown from the Ping An Chinese Super League will be on Saturday, July 30 when Shanghai Greenland Shenhua face Jiangsu Suning.
Then on Sunday, Guangzhou R&F take on ex-England manager Sven Goran Eriksson's side Shanghai SIPG, both games will be shown on Sky Sports 3 from 12.30pm.

Fake football to match most things that China exports.

Can't say I'll be too interested to be honest.
I tried to watch the MLS when Sky first had it, but it was just too slow and boring.

That's the sound of Sky scraping the barrel.

I've seen a number of clips from matches and it seem's a bit faster paced than you'd expect from a league propped up by Premiership retirement players. That's the sound of Sky scraping the barrel. Nah, that'd be women's football, which is a fucking dire standard.

Sky got caught napping when BT bought up rights to most European Leagues before they even started broadcasting and then merged with ESPN in he UK - and then got blown out of the water with the bidding for the Champions and Europa Leageue
I've no idea whether BT make any money on it - I guess not - but it certainly put a dent in Sky's boast of being "The Home of Football".
The response it seems has been to bid stupid money for the Premier League and fill the remainder of their football schedules with - La Liga excepted - largely unwatchable shite.

People said the same with the MLS. I think they'll give it a better go (they're attracting better players at a younger age for a start). But football needs more than that. China's national team are nowhere really and it'll take time for that to improve. For it to be a success I hope they have a more bottom up approach than the Yanks!

I think I'll give it a crack this weekend just because there is no football on anywhere else but if it's anything like the mls then it won't be regular viewing for me
