Stoke and Swans in Chadli battle
STOKE boss Mark Hughes is rivalling Swansea counterpart Francesco Guidolin for Nacer Chadli.
Swansea have made no secret of the fact they want Chadli but now Stoke are ready to enter the running for the £15m-rated Tottenham midfielder as well.
Chadli flew to Australia with the rest of the Spurs squad on Friday but is expected to leave White Hart Lane when the club returns from its pre-season tour Down Under.

Would be a solid replacement for Arnie I think, a very good player by all accounts.

A bit of "tit for tat" re Joe Allen?
You don't bid for Allen and we wont bid for Chadli springs to mind.
Would take Chadli in a heart beat mind.

Good player with an eye for goal; you'd think there'd be some competition for his signature?

I wonder if 2014-15 was an outlier season for him?
2013-14 1 goal in 14 games (1 in 14) 2014-15 11 goals in 35 games (1 in 3.2) 2015-16 3 goals in 29 games (1 in 9.6) - dropped from the Belgian squad as well...
Anyone know his minutes played or why the change in form?

I don't think it is. He's waiting to see if a bigger club come in. Just like Nzonzi did. Footballers are ambitious. With Chadli, hasn't his best football in England come when he's been played centrally?

Ah, the customary 'let's take the piss out of Stoke for half the transfer window' talks with Levy/Spurs. Let the games commence. Good player, mind.

He's not Better than Arnie. Give Arnie what he wants stoke, we won't get better. I don't think Stoke can give him what he wants. The example of Leicester shows that for clubs like ours, even winning the League is not enough to keep players who think they are better served by bigger clubs.

(League Apps) 13/14 - 24 apps (15 starts/9 sub) - 1455 mins - 1 goal, 3 assists 14/15 - 35 (28/7) - 2417 mins - 11 Gs, 5 As 15/16 - 29 (10/19) - 938 mins - 3 Gs, 2 As

He's not as powerful and aggressive as Arnautovic and he hasn't got the brain and the quick feet of Shaqiri, seems a bit of a nothing rumour to me this does.
Never rated Chadli, if we're shopping at White Hart Lane I'd take Bentaleb, Chadli is tats.

Duck chadli. He won't add anything different to our team. Not super quick and always cuts inside. I would like our wing options as shaq arnie sobhi and moses on loan. His pace would give us a different dimension.
