Cracking show with 'Mrs Brown' stealing the show ripping out director's earpieces, telling unscripted jokes and ad limbs which fellow cast members were clearly not a expecting. Well done to the BBC for not playing safe.

Urgh, if this is the pinnacle of British 'comedy' then we are all fucked. What ever happened to proper comedy? A gender bender insecure old man who can only say 'feck' multiple times hardly warrants an accolade. Bring back python I say.

Must admit I have tried really hard with this show, I want to like it but somehow I just can't seem to get on the right wave length

It's very unfunny. But, each to their own I guess.

Same as others, tried to enjoy it, but left completely cold, just not funny on any level, but then again I couldn't do with the Young Ones either...

You know when in 'Extras' the character sold out by creating a 'sitcom' with wig and catchphrases, this is Mrs Brown's Boys. An ITV grade comedy. Glad I am not alone in thinking it's awful!

I don't think I've ever met anybody, young or old, who thinks it is funny. It's complete shite as far as I'm concerned and even worse than an "ITV grade comedy".

I have to say I caught it only once by accident
Im sorry but Id be embarrassed to admit I found it entertaining
About as funny as having a sloppy shit 5 minutes after a hot, refreshing shower.
Good comedy should show intelligence in its writing, not some fat cunt with a wig saying 'fecking' over & over

Can't imagine Mrs Browns Boys will be shown in 30 + yrs time unlike step toe, only fools, porridge etc. Even now they are still funny even after seeing them so many times.

Imagine being force fed that 24/7 with no escape
And that fuckin theme tune, Christ, its as bad as it gets
Just devoid of any ideas bar a mispronunciation of the word fucking. No doubt some BBC paedo will sit on a nice, fat, 'feckin' pension off this shite!

Dave Allen must be turning in his grave. A genuine Irish storytelling comedian, witty and clever. This 'cheeky chappie' oirish flannel just doesn't wash. As said earlier, not for me.

I think he was expecting quite a lot of fans on here and there's turned out to be more endorsements for Oscar Pistorius.
