Feel a bit sorry for them.
After such a monumental achievement it looks like the vultures (Chelsea, Arsenal etc) are hovering.
With Kante already gone, Mahrez looking to go and general disharmony in the changing room it looks like rough waters ahead. I'm sure they'll get some decent players in but it looks like the heart will be ripped out of there Championship winning team. It just proves how money will always win through in the end and if you're a "smaller" team you'll never be allowed to push on because there'll always be the big boys to bully you back to mid table.
Big shame. I think you can put your house on Man U, Man C or Chelsea winning the title this season.

Well said cobham. Vulture's is the correct word. Greedy vulture's sum's them up for me! In all truth this great game of our's stinks to high heaven! I sincerely hope somebody does a Leicester again this coming season, but I wouldn't hold my breath!

It saddens me to say it but that's the price of success. And who can really be bitter with someone who is looking to better themselves in what is a very short career. Gouranga.

Who the fuck cares?
Just remember: THEY WON THE PREMIER LEAGUE!!
Most of us will never see stoke win shit. Of course people want players good enough to win the league. For us, chance would be a fine thing and even if they get picked apart, THEY WON THE LEAGUE.

I understand what you are saying, but I have hated the so called big clubs all my life (especially one). It sickens me to the rotten core when these f'ing clubs come out on top. Cannot help myself. Even cursing at the Wigan score and I don't like them either!

I guess it's one for the older fan but it always felt back in the 70's and 80's that when teams won the league it was more down to
Scouting Local Development Crowds generating money
Now it's down to simply
Wealth of the Chairman
Last season was great because it was something different and yes of course it would have been better if we could have done it but it would have been nice if they could have carried on there success by adding to there already decent squad rather than having all there best players leave. What they had was something special.
That said you are right they are CHAMPIONS and that can never be taken from them.
With there CL commitments I can see us finishing above them this season if we add to our squad.

Yeah it's a bit of an uncertain time for us at the moment. Our head scout Steve Walsh (who actually bought in the likes of Kante, Vardy & Mahrez) has been offered a DOF role at Everton, and did not travel with the club to their pre season tour in Austria. Kante as we know has moved on, rumours that Mahrez might be doing the same, Swansea and West Brom have bidded for Ulloa and Schlupp respectively, clubs are interested in Drinkwater & Schmeichel.
No doubt we've purchased quality but I hope we keep together a squad, who have such a special bond between each other, and that goes up into the stands too. The connection between the players and fans is the strongest bond I've seen. Togetherness is the word for it and I hope we keep it.

The same would happen with us.
Maybe finishing 9th/10th forever means at least we will have some continuity with playing staff. I think if we finish higher we will just get our best players picked off.
Leicester have had their moment though and no-one can take that away. I don't think this will ever happen again in my lifetime.

The Telegraph's latest article suggests Leicester have 'resigned' to our head scout Walsh moving to Everton in a Director of Football Role. The consensus from our fans is that if he does move, that might just be the biggest blow for us given the talent he has bought into the club and continues to.

Ranieri has also stated the club's ambition next season is to win more silverware, so of course that'd be superb too.

Not sure it's the money really, the players are leaving to teams that will give them a better chance of winning it again or maybe regular champs league, it was clear that Leicester were willing to give them the big bucks going of what Vardy is apparently getting.

You've entered your youth team in the Johnson's Paint Trophy then From the outside I think Myrez is the key player to retain for you, do wonder if bumping Vardy upto the rumoured £100k per week has unsettled the squad, but it's all relative I guess this time last year you probably weren't hoping to avoid Lincoln Red Imps in the champions league.

Money talks I'm afraid. Wank huh!
Personally. If I was one of those players, you ask for a wage rise and stay loyal for AT LEAST one more season.
Champions League football with those team mates you just won the title with rather than a few extra thousand FFS. Its not like being on 40-60 k a week at Leicester is going to skint you is it!
They'll obviously be snapped up if they continued to dazzle but to just jump ship without seeing out the story is toss, i 100% believe when they're older they will regret. Simply because money doesn't impress everyone
Achievements and creating history does.

Im not bitter about a club we are similar sized to winning the league in a day and age they should have no chance. They are beginning to get on my pip. Not bitter though

Can't wait till there's another trillionare comes in and trumps the likes of Chelsea and Man U.
China has showed how ever unfashionable your club may be footballers are so greedy they'll play for anyone.

China has showed how ever unfashionable your club may be footballers are so greedy they'll play for anyone. I agree, Cobs. I remember a thread on here where people were saying no "small" club could win the league and I was one of the few who thought it possible. Leicester bucked the trend last season basically by buying well and playing as a team; they took the piss out of the big boys. We could have done the same with better signings and I think that's what irks a few on here. I think Leicester would have been a nightmare for anyone again due to their style of play, and that's why the top clubs want to pinch their players. Kante alone will be a massive loss. Are people really happy with Jose, Pepe and the manic Italian being touted as geniuses for buying the league again? It might be the way football has gone, but it's pretty wank, in my opinion.

They should all show some loyalty to their supporters, their manager and club and "stay put". What more do they want? Guaranteed champions league football next year in their short career, and with the momentum carried through from last season, who knows, they may have even gone on to even greater things. 2 fingers to the "big clubs", i say.

Shitehawks.
Already guaranteed Champions League football and they're jumping ship, rot you fuckers, rot.
I'm aware money talks in today's game but to not even give it a crack with Leicester for another season is poor form, I'm pretty sure the bonuses for winning the league and whatnot have already boosted their bank accounts significantly, this is why the monopoly of the big teams will never be broken, because the moment someone like Leicester come along they're picked apart the season after, it happened to Montpellier as well when they won the French league.

It's always been that way as Leicester will then take a player from another club

All the crap spoken by these players that say they must play the in the Champions League and here we have movement to a club not in the competition. We all know the reason is money.i would have far more respect for players if only they would admit it. I am sick and tired of hearing "as soon as I heard they wanted me there was only one place I wanted to go" ,meaning "as soon as I heard the astronomical amount they wanted to pay me I could think of nothing but how quickly can I get there" Why not stay at Leicester, earn good money have a crack at the Champios League and help the club develop? Seems a good place to be with a decent manager and the owners seem ok. The grass is not always greener

Jesus wept. They have a a fucking league title under their belt (which alongside great team work had bucket loads of luck), get champions league football and get clubs chucking money at them.
My heart bleeds.
