It's a shame really. Stan's had his problems in the past, but he was a very good broadcaster.
Very good show, very passionate, very knowledgeable.

That'll be a big shame. He ruffles a few feathers along the way but he's passionate and simply speaks his mind as an ex player and a footy fan. With regards to when he's covered Stoke I've always found that when he says we're good we've been good and when he's not been as complimentary we've usually been poor and his criticisms been justified.

I wish we could dump Rupert Murdoch. The guy who oversaw the hacking of murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler's voicemail and vilified the victims of the Hillsborough tragedy is running our country and expanding his Empire.

Stan's the only guy worth listening to on that station, big mistake letting him go. Hope 5live sign him up like some have said.

Sky should pick him up and get rid of Thierry Henry and his stupid smirk.
I like Stan too (and yes, he's had his troubles in the past) and he's forthright and direct, but he knows what he's talking about and can string more than a few words together. As someone has mentioned, how Mickey Quinn makes a living from spouting his drivel I don't know. Stan is better off without TalkSport.

Fought Stoke City's corner in that first season in the premier, pretty much as a lone pundit, whilst everyone else queued up to put the boot in. Good luck Stan in whatever you do next.

Really can't understand this at all, I've been listening to talk sport for about 7 years now, absolutely love stans show on the weekends after the games, and love his shows with Saggers, not going to be the same at all, wounder what they will do instead of call Collinmoor?
I'd like to know why they have done this

Murdoch owns Sky too - no chance Indeed. Maybe BT Sport? Already been sacked by them a couple of years back over comments about Rangers sectarian chanting. Probably more to do with phone hacking claim than comments about the Sun.

I love listening to Stan and Saggers from Oz. a real shame he has gone . Hopefully he will broadcast a weekly podcast if he isn't picked up by another network. I'd subscribe.

Different folks different strokes. I find him to be a rather bombastic, amateurish and very 'shouty' pundit who has little or nothing of interest to say. The 'I'm just an ordinary Villa fan' stuff was particularly tedious. Good luck to him in the future but preferably in an area outside of national radio.

He's very good on the radio. Not always right but never afraid to give an opinion. His phone in show is a joke mate One caller per hour and it always goes with what he wants to talk about even though the caller has rang in about something else His prank of following England fans around with one of those cameras mimicking the Russians was the final straw for me He's woeful

Think he's actually a good football broadcaster - but way to Aston Villa biased.

But they keep Mickey Quinn....astounding. The sole reason I stopped listening in a morning. What an unbelievable knob-head he is. I quite like Brazil, but when this twat is by his side, I want to set the car stereo on fire. Collymore going is just one more reason not to bother again.

If they got rid of Brazil or Hawksbee and Jacobs they would be fucked..Feal the same about Quinn and that Colin Murray turn them both off.
