I went to school with Eddie. He never showed any major interest in football. Was more into swimming. yes he was my training partner for years at city of stoke swimming club I don't recall him being big on footy but he's proud of the area and I'm sure he will hope they do well. he was 1 of the best swimmers in the country for his age group at 12-14

Was more into swimming. yes he was my training partner for years at city of stoke swimming club I don't recall him being big on footy but he's proud of the area and I'm sure he will hope they do well. he was 1 of the best swimmers in the country for his age group at 12-14 The only reason I asked was when I saw him on the telly I remember some of those World's Strongest Men types being introduced to the crowd at halftime a couple of years ago and the announcer made a big thing about one of them being a Stoke fan and I wondered if this was him. Perhaps he's a Premier League jcl. But don't tell him I said that
