Portugal manage to make nearly every football match unbelievably dull.

What goes around comes around! Somewhere along the line, they all get their comeuppance! Ronaldo was one of the biggest of all cheats when he played in the Prem!

It was a foul and I'm sure that you would have thought the same if someone had done it to Bojan or Arnie, He went straight through him. I suspect that you are letting your hatred of Ronaldo get in the way of your assessment. For my part, its just a shame that the foul went unpunished and the game is probably almost effectively over as a result of the challenge, PS: I hope I'm wrong and I am genuinely neutral, but I did want to see an entertaining game. I have no hatred for Ronaldo, I admire his skill on a football field, but quite simply it wasn't a foul. Not every contact has to be a foul, and this was an example of a good strong tackle, end of. For what it's worth, I actually want Portugal to win. As I said, I am genuinely neutral but if I have any preference it would probably be France. I would just have preferred to see it with each side at full strength, I do think it was a foul but nowhere near one of the worst sort, however, I do think he was letting Ronaldo know he was there. I'm sure that everyone, including Clattenberg, thought that he was play-acting, perhaps understandably, but he obviously wasn't. For me, an injury to an opposing player is something that I could never comfortably celebrate, as others, not you, appear to think appropriate, I might make an exception to that for Jack Wilshere though.

Well, this final is certainly inking in this tournament as the very worst international tournament I've ever seen. There have been some great stories. Wales being the obvious one. Their 3-1 win over Belgium, having gone behind, was brilliant. The Iceland story was great too. The Ireland win over Italy to qualify from their group was a bit special. This final is terrible though.

Thierry Henry with his "listen" and "look" before every statement is really pissing me off. All these fuckin pundits on a jolly at the viewers expense is a complete waste of money.

Goal of the tournament offerings don't look bad all back to back. Shaq still the best.

For what it's worth, I actually want Portugal to win. If you have ever played football, even at amateur level like me, you will know that Payet knew exactly what he was doing with that tackle. He used a ball-winning tackle to crunch the opposition player. The ref can't give it; you think it was fair; the game is finished for the opposition team's star player. I really want Portugal to win this now, having been completely neutral before that tackle. The French have had quite a few things go for them in this tournament. Their luck is about to run out!

Portugal are mind numbingly boring to watch and France are only marginally better. It looks like both teams are so afraid to lose they daren't try to win.
