This straddles between Everything Else & Gaming but I think it's best to put it here as it shows the dangerous precedent that's seeping through Youtube's already dodgy culture. So for starters, there's a game called Counter Strike: Global Offensive for anyone who's not into gaming and through this game you can win weapon skins and sell them on Steam's (A hub for buying games and social activity) Marketplace. However in recent years external sites have popped up similar to betting sites for football and such (Bet365) where you can essentially play roulette among other things with skins you trade for their currency or using real world money. Already a bit dodgy as it's encouraging youngsters to gamble with items that have a value but not in real life terms. Now onto the scandal. A few months back one of the stars of the Counter Strike tournament scene (Again ridiculous these guys can win money going into the millions) was endorsed by one of these gambling sites to promote it through his content (Streaming etc.) and they would tell him what his spins would be beforehand. www.dexerto.com/news/2016/06/21/thorin-releases-video-moe-diamond-scandal/In the past week more of this has come to light, two highly popular Youtubers have been found out to be the founders of a particular betting site which they have been making videos on as if they had just stumbled across it, encouraging their viewers to bet on their site and claiming 'losses' as a business expense. www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-07-04-youtube-stars-criticised-after-it-emerges-they-owned-gambling-site-they-promotedAnd then today another Youtuber, PsiSyndicate, has come out and admitted to wrongfully promoting a site due to being paid to do so. www.pcgamer.com/youtuber-admits-that-his-csgo-skin-betting-videos-were-rigged/---- Many of you probably have no interest in this but it does make you wonder how much these people influence the younger generations.

I'm totally confused. You lost me during your second sentence, but I guess your post was not aimed at the likes of me.
