Yes Paulet. Abbott Beyne's the better school now. Mate if you're not bothered about wandering round Stapenhill and you like real beer give The Coopers Tavern in Cross St and The Devonshire round the corner in Station St a whirl. Proper good.

What's the boozer at the end of Trent Bridge,by the lights as you can turn right for Stapenhill or go straight on for Ashby.Turn left and it takes you up Bearwood Hill.Big white pub, always fancied going in their. Thanks for the nod on them pubs, will look out for them.

It WAS The Swan. Hence it was The Swan Junction. It's now flats The Copper Hearth, Black Horse and The Punch Bowl along with loads of others in Stapenhill all shut. It's a pity I'm on holiday I'd have given you a tour of the best boozers. Some of the lads are taking in a brewery trip round the National Brewery Centre (The old Bass' brewery). I prefer Marstons mesen.

Have a good day.

Off to watch them play Preston at the Pirelli on the 2nd. £20 to stand up, worth a visit to dust off the Christmas blues at least
